FCC Approves Net Neutrality Rules For 'Open Internet'. Ended by orange turd and losers.

Lawsuits inbound. It's been repealed. Thanks trump voters.

It's for national security; she couldn't have kept all those emails if she had to pay a "political email not sent by the GOP" surcharge on her monthly Comcast bill.

Iowa is just about all Republican except for one of the four congressmen. The AG is Democrat though so guessing that is the only reason Iowa is on the list. Fairly certain everyone but the Democrat was in favor of getting rid of it. Last I saw my congressman was on the table. I wrote to him and of course just received a generic get f***ed sort of message.

Remember Pai was obumas guy.he was going to do this no matter what. American internet is slower compared to Europe and the rest of the world even France has faster speeds

Yea not really sure why he went with Pai. As far as I know the president has to select at least two opposing party members but why Pai.

Before Obama passed net neutrality, what kept ISPs from doing what we're afraid they'll do now that it's been repealed?

The did do it. AOL was screening and deleting emails without user knowledge. Comcast blocked Netflix. I had a whole list of the nonsense.

Yep, and the biggest problem? How do you prove what your ISP is doing? Say your Netflix suddenly starts buffering really badly. Is your ISP messing with your traffic, or are Netflix servers just slow? There's no way to prove or even really know your ISP is doing it. Of course throw in little or no competition and consumers have little or no power against it.

Yeah, it's total s***. Stuff like this really puts a divider in my eyes between people who parrot other points and those who know what they're talking about.
