Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade offers an even more enhanced experience for a new generation of gaming as well as the new Yuffie DLC called Intermission. For those excited to see the new boss fights, returning characters, and a branching narrative that comes with Yuffie and the gang, just know that the Intermission DLC will be a separate download no matter the version purchased. Whether physical or digital, the Intermission DLC is a separate entity from Intergrade for those making hard drive space.
The Intermission DLC for Final Fantasy VII Remake adds two new chapters for players to enjoy as Yuffie Kisaragi begins her assault against Shinra within the city of Midgar. For PlayStation 4 players, there will be an Intergrade upgrade for free (though not for the version that was previously gifted as a PS Plus title), but the Yuffie DLC will not be available for PS4 players that do not have a PS5 console. For PlayStation 5 players, however, Intergrade will include Intermission at no additional cost, though the download will still be a separate digital item.
Should be automatic, but will download….Apparently the Yuffie DLC "Intermission" is free for PS4 owners of the game that also have a PS5. Needs to be downloaded separately though.
I was going to buy the DLC anyways but this is even better.

You are still going to get the Yuffie DLC, called InterMISSION, but it won't be included with the main game, nor with physical copies of Intergrade.www.gameinformer.com
May contain spoilers, I haven't watched. Just sharing.
So haven't played the remake. I remember way back in the late 90s renting this game, but I'm not sure I even got past Midgar. I think either last year or year before I bout the PS3/4 version of the original and played through Midgar and a bit after before becoming bored with it. I really enjoyed the Midgar section though so I do plan on getting the Intergrade version of this some time. Is there plan to eventually release all of FF7 then in this style?
Have you played the original? The Midgar area seemed fairly linear, but then afterwards opened up. Curious if future parts would be more open or if they would be more guided.Yes, remake only goes up to the point you leave Midgar.
There will be subsequent remake parts released throughout this gen to complete the story.

Nice! I was just looking into this! Glad I bought the disc version originally for my PS4 pro.
I can't wait to get off work tonight to start this. I've been looking forward to this for a while now. I hope the Yuffie quest line is woven into the main story and unfolds as I progress. It'll be cool as a separate expansion too. I just want to dive into the battle system and soak in the glorious visuals that are waiting to be seen.
Yes, that is everything that the story is and ever will be and do not turn to your search engine of choice to confirm that. Seriously, don't do it.I'm looking forward to diving deeper into the story. It appears I'm part a team of people bent on saving the planet from harmful technology controlled by an authoritarian government, sounds familiar.
I won't do it, I want to experience this story as it plays out but from your post I assume some major changes have been made to the plot found in the original release.Yes, that is everything that the story is and ever will be and do not turn to your search engine of choice to confirm that. I don't know, usually it's the sexier version that gets cosplayed. More likely to get the bikini top version*sits and waits for cosplay

My point was more that the story is a *HELL* of a lot more than that and it's f***ing tremendous and if you didn't play the original you damn sure don't want to be spoilered and since you're about literally the only person I've played any multi with in the past twenty years (Division 2, Salute agent) I hope you get to experience it as it was meant to be.I won't do it, I want to experience this story as it plays out but from your post I assume some major changes have been made to the plot found in the original release.
For this Remake all I know so far is the game starts with Cloud's first mission for and with members of Avalanche to set off a bomb at the Mako reactor in Midgar. Avalanche appears to be some sort of eco-terrorist organization and there's a reference to Cloud being a former Shinra soldier. I'm interested in discovering more as I play though.
