I'm rather pissy with the Final Fantasy ports on windows 10.

9, 13, 13-2, 13-3 wont work with the Xbox one control.

MS pass the blame to SE, and the don't give a s*** since they already have my money.

You can roll-back the controller driver, but then it stops other games from working.

Its something to do with the analogue triggers.

Yeah, they really need to work on their PC support. My mobile laptop can't turn down settings past 720p got Lightning Returns. MSAA is forced as well. The FFVII and FFVIII ports are just straight ports and still don't even have proper controller support in the slightest. Now that PC is becoming the go-to platform for RPGs, they need to do us some justice or we use that refund policy to protest.

Steam exclusive features: Auto-save and 5 game boosters including high speed and no encounter modes.

And it launched at $23.99 on Steam! I love how this is the one and only version of the game where they don't try to get over on you with the price! Us PC gamers have standards for how much we are willing to pay for half a dozen re-releases! But the game does seem to have a few bugs and a lack of PC settings upon initial startup of the game. Hopefully they respond to this in the near future. I'll be waiting until I see them rolling in updates before I jump onboard with this port.

I got the game, I couldn't hold out. So far so good. No controller/load issues, and it looks bloody good for a ps2 game!

Only glitch so far, 5 hours in, are a few weapons from npc vanishing.

Same here. I caved and purchased it too lol. And I'm having no issues either. I did initially have trouble getting past the game's Zanarkand intro thing. You have to press "b" on the keyboard to skip it. But the auto-save feature is so useful. It auto-saves very often, making you feel very comfortable just writing the game whenever you like. Auto-battle and Hide HUD are awesome too. And I can play at 600p and no AA. This feels like a solid port!

Missed the Besaid destruction sphere the first time, and spent 2 hours trying to kill Dark Valefor and his 800,000hp...

And then Yojimbo 1shotted her lol.

Also, not related to this game, but I realized that in FFXIII, if you're having load issues with a controller, just load the game with the the controller turned off, then turn it on. Such a silly thing to have to do. ~-~
