Can't remember the character's name but the Viking assassin chick was probably my favorite. Fast and nimble, and liked that you had to alternate attack buttons. Plus I like those characters' way of defending where you have to time it right.

Yeah it is very like a fighter game. I don't quite button mash but I'm not far off it. One of the players I've come across are just insanely good. I had one guy taking on me and two others and he beat all three of us. I couldn't even land a blow.

Their the ones I suck at. menace-uk- got real good at using the Peacekeeper but I could barely get a kill with her.

Fighting games don't have controls like this. If this had fighting game controls or /dark souls/ninja gaiden style it would be much better than the mediocre offer we are getting.
 
I'm just wondering if the game is strictly multiplayer or if it will some sort of single player story mode.

I agree with him on the host migration issues. It could be a problem. It didn't happen loads to me but it happened enough.

I don't agree with the micro transactions. You get daily missions and public events that pay out loads of resources. I earned nearly 10k with the time I played and had enough to buy loads of premium packs. That mechanic doesn't bother me but I can see why it annoys some. He was wrong about one thing as well, he said the gear you buy is only available in Dominion mode. That's wrong. It's available in all modes.
 
It's about the only thing that has me interested in at the moment but it can wait. First up is Nioh, which by the way, are you planning on getting? Coop sometime?
 
Don't delete your client just yet. It looks like an open beta is coming as well.

Have it pre ordered already, along with GR:Wildlands and Horizon:Zero Dawn. That's be me cleared out of cash for games for the foreseeable future.
 
70K playing now. Great to see there is still lots of positive interest in this game. I think it will be this years sleeper hit.

There was some funky stuff going on last night but they hit nearly 200K players so I'm wondering if the servers were getting overloaded.
 
Alright I gave another go and I found out that the problem was me (of course). I didn't know you can switch up your characters. I just thought you were just stuck with the basics.

I found a female fighter that did well for me. So i had a fair chance. Its so.ething I need to get expose to a lot to get better.
 
I like the combat but I can hardly ever counter a guard break. I don't know if it's the p2p connection or what. A lot of people just spam guard break against me because I have a terrible time with it.
 
Day one. Pre order already loaded. Can't wait for it.
 
menace-uk- appartently if you beat the story on the hardest difficulty you get 5000 steel and 7 premium packs. We could get started on that tonight. It's meant to be pretty tough on that difficulty as well.

I unlocked the three new characters with my starting cash. The Valkyrie and the big Samurai heavy dude look real good.
