Did previous games have a fog of war effect on the radar or is this new or could it just be for this demo?
no it was by road, not sure i like that change if it is the case. But they might have had to do it for usability reasons since there is so much verticality, you would have roads hidden under other roads that you cant see on the map

As long as they don't lose focus on what makes Horizon special, I am for all those additional features. I just want to be able to hop in a car and drive literally cross county through fields and trees and hills and mountains and not have to be on a road if I don't want. That made it special for me.
