Forza Motorsport: Apex (Windows 10)

Looking forward to the 4k screenshots
 
Not a fan of racing games, but that looks bloody beautiful.

Although it didn't look 4 on my phone.
 
Excited. My favorite racing series coming to PC!
 
The beta is out on the Windows 10 store....if you have 8GB of RAM and want to max the game out you will have stuttering issues. The game maxed filled up my ram to 95% and the game started to stutter and then things started to crash on my desktop...wow never thought I would see the day a game would require a system have more than 8GB of RAM...time to go get a couple of sticks of RAM....Other than the crazy RAM requirements the game is easy to run maxed out with 4xMSAA.

Yikes!

I wonder how high that goes @ 4k?
Rise of the Tomb Raider maxed out at 4K would take sometimes over 10Gigs of system Ram on my rig when I monitored it with afterburner.

The oddest part is VRAM usage was pretty low with the highest texture setting about 2.5 GB....but when I turned down textures to medium my RAM usage went from 7.7GB to about 6.8 GB and the game stopped stuttering. The high RAM usage was crashing my desk to too. So yea max setting on this really does require more than 8GB of system RAM.

Heard the ram usage is kinda strange with Nvidia cards. QB also had some Nvidia-specific issues so I guess their driver support is kinda troubled as of late. Heard 4GB model of R9 290X snugly maxes out at 3.7GB, and I guess my 290 works about the same.
 
finally got out to pick up another 8GB RAM kit, this game absolutely requires 16 GB of RAM on max settings. I saw RAM usage get as high as 10GB!!! while playing, Forza taking up about 8GB alone by itself.
