American Idol ftw? Kelly Clarkson was the first winner and the best. They should have ended the show there.

personally speaking, I would like to see all of these fake talent shows e.g. The Voice, American Idol, X-factor, etc. disapper from the face of the earth and simply because you cannot manufacture "real" talent as the music(and movie) industry is trying to do.

If anything it make you wonder why stuff like the grammy awards continue to be irrelevant for 10+ years now....all of the talents fall into 3 groups...fad artist, manufactured artist or one hit wonders.

And yes, Star Search and the Apollo Theater were the real...so many real talent came from those.
