During the Open Beta you can earn a free copy of Frostpoint VR! The first 3,000 eligible people each week to complete 10 matches will earn a free copy of the game—that's right, we're giving away 9,000 copies.


To be eligible, you need to visit the Play to Own page, enter your email, and link your Oculus or Steam account. Finishing 10 matches in any of the three weeks will grant you a free copy of the game at the end of the Open Beta. The giveaways are limited to 1 per account, and the first 3,000 people to reach 10 matches played each week. Joining the Open Beta is as simple as installing and playing—it’s open! The Frostpoint VR Open Beta will be available on Steam and the Oculus Store starting September 28, and everyone is welcome to install, log in, and play. Frostpoint VR: Proving Grounds is launching this year for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive VR, and Valve Index headsets.

I mentioned this title before on the everything VR thread. It could be a decent online shooter. This is also to be InXile's last game from a different publisher other than Microsoft. They were at one time, trying to make a successful arena game, and also hoping to world-build a universe worthy of a single player experience. (Not sure if publisher keeps the rights for any sequel) They also released A Mage's Tale on PC VR, a followup to the popular Bard's Tale. It seemed to be pretty highly regarded.
