He may finish the next book but I think most fans are with you in that they know the series won't be finished.

He was 100% right about the show though
 
I seriously had no idea this prequel series was starting already, it's been completely off of my radar until a couple days ago.

Nah he knows the ending. Problem is he added so much extra stuff he's having trouble reaching the ending now.
 
I am on Season 8. I just finished watching episode 3, The Long Night, last night. OMG what an epic episode. We had the lights down, and were GLUED to the TV. We didn't want the episode to end! I can't want to see episode 4 to find out who all survived!
I can't believe Arya killed the Night King!!!!

May be in the minority, but I was fine with Arya killing the Night King, and loved how they did it. It was shot, edited, score, and acted perfectly. I got emotional when I watched it live, and still do when I watch it. Just like I just did.

5 seasons setting up Snow v Night King only for Arya to do it. Lame!!!
 
Just watched S8 E4. After they cut her head off, I f***ing wanted to KILL the queen. I was about to rage through my TV. I hope Jamie cuts her f***ing head off and s***s down her neck.

Ok...I'm calm now.
 
Well, tonight we watch the last episode! I am sad as I have grown to love the characters. Episode 5 that we watched last night was pretty damn epic. I am sure tonight's episode will just wrap things up to end the season.

I am glad to see a Jon Snow spin off is confirmed.
