Official Thread Game of Thrones

The shot of the dragon flying by in the background at the start of Clegaine bowl was fuking epic!

One thing that felt alittle off is that the first dragon to die was the biggest but while attacking Kings Landing this dragon seemed to be spitting fire three times as far and in much greater volume. Seemed a bit overdone.

The rirst dragon to die wasn't the biggest. Dany has always rode the biggest one.

I think the problem with Dany is how little time they showed her with Jon after they both knew the truth.

In 2 episodes Jon says he loves her but sort of pulls away. Is he grossed out because of the aunt thing? Is he worried about what she'd become? I get the dumb Stark genes (yes he's still got Stark) but they just never explained it. I have no problem with it, they just didn't explain it at all.

I thought the episode was a lot better actually. I thought Arya was going to jump in and stab Cersei and everyone lived happily ever after.

I thought the dragons were fine, the issue was how dumb she was in using them the first time. The last dragon to die was just flying straight and level.
The Dany character was very poorly handled. They spent 6 seasons showing her as one thing, and then ih the space of a few episodes she became the dxact opposite. It is terrible writing.

Look at her attack on Kings Landing. The battle was won. There was absolutely no point in laying waste to it or the people living there. She went from liberator of slaves to mass murder murderer in one episode. f***ing dumb.

It was great. Also loved the goodbye between him and Arya

I saw some people complaining saying "she wouldn't have gone all that way just to turn back" it's like they thought she planned on the keep to be crumbling around her and a crazy lady burning the place down with her dragon. The circumstances changed, her target was going to die so there was no need for her to die along with her.

She has shown flashes all along that she wasn't the miss goody two shoes some people seem to think she was. Everyone wanted to believe all of her intentions were good but the entire time she was building an army and raising three killing machines to go take back something she felt she was entitled to, even if the Lannisters were good and kind she wouldn't have cared. If she just wanted to free people and be good to them she could have stayed in Essos and ruled.

That wasn't whhat she wanted.

And nothing you said really amounts to anything. They showed flashes? A few comments here and there, some of which were just to mock her advisers. She burnt two enemies in war...not everybody, just two. Even then 1 was given an out.

Her characters writing this season has been s*** & ridiculous. End of

Do people choose to forgot the entitled brat in s2 screaming about her right?

Or she got the unsullied by double crossing on a deal?

No one's said she's a good person. She doesn't hide it either

I am just commenting on what the twitter guy is saying. Dany was never "good" but he would clearly view Arya as good. The build of Arya being a lunatic would be way more clear.

This is funny.

Is that really your foundation for what she becomes? Not only are these things far removed, but you seem to be confused by the point being made. Nobody is saying she is 100% good and did nothing wrong.

No it's an example. Plenty more that show her true side.
She showed her father's traits from the start

Is an example of nothing. How is crossing a vile bunch of masters who enslave, torture, and kill babies in front of their mother an example of how she always been the Mad Queen who 'pointlessly' mass murders innocent civilians?

Everything she has done has actually showed herr to not be that person.

Well saw it coming that with Dany since the very start that she likely would turn into a Tyrant, right now everyone that could have stopped her from going that path is either dead or she does not want to listen to because their advises has turned out to be turning things way worse for her.

You can say you don't like the way the story is being told but pretending they haven't been hinting at this all along is just being stubborn and amounts to nothing more than a child stomping his feet because he didn't get what he wanted.

Exactly, she feels owed the throne which is already a bad starting off point, her hand is a fool who can talk a good game and recently she's lost two of her "children" half of her army and two people she was very close to, add to that learning that all of her "work" really is for nothing because someone else (someone she is in love with and is her nephew) has a better claim to the throne and it's pretty easy to see that someone who was already a bit unbalanced would snap.

Danys turn has been discussed plenty of times in this topic over the years... almost like things in the show were hinting at it
