I had this thread in the old forum, and figured I would revive it. I'm always wanting to post about random games I'm playing, so this is a place for me and people like me to discuss the games they enjoy or are enjoying.

The first one I want to mention is Resident Evil 6. Such a fun game!! Has a ton of content too. It's weird since RE5 was such a chore to play, and this one is so accessible. One of those games that is way better than the demo. Very underrated IMO.

Another shout out is for Alien vs Predator. It is $10 on Xbox so I picked it up and it's really fun! Each of the three campaigns are unique and enjoyable so far. I'm really surprised since that's another game that got really mediocre reviews.

Super Mario Bros.

Because it was the first game I've played and it because its the reason why I got into this bizz-nazz.

I'll say it every time, Phantom Dust.

Two Worlds. Because it's really not the abomination most people seem to think it is. I had a lot of fun with that game. Enjoyed it more than Skyrim even.

If your're a twin stick shooter fan:

XBLA
-
Geo Wars 2 (I think it's $5). The series that started it all. Good game, but extremely tough. You probably won't last more than 5 minutes in the game. Various modes though for variety

Indie (most or all should be $1. Ones marked with *** are even awesomer!)
- Any of the Radian Games. http://www.radiangames.com/xbox-live-indie-games/
- Biology Battle***
- Grid Sace Shooter***
- Score Rush***
- Decimation x3
- Zombie Estate (*** if you like retro 8-bit style)
- I made a game with zombies in it

Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.

Despite it's heavy "blow s*** up" focus, it was never really goofy. Not to get insufferable and delve into it too deeply but it showed a conflict between south and north korea, to me, somewhat realistically.

Plus, ya know, it was fun and junk.

Naughty Bear. Such an underrated game.

Drowning teddy bears in a cake mixer was one of my highlights from last gen.

Advent Rising

It's a disservice that I forgot about advent rising.

Man, OGxbox had so many amazing yet underrated games. Such of a shame, sort of sent the message that originality doesn't pay well. A message that's clearly evident today.

@Intellivision

Twin Sticks are one of my favorite XBLA genres. Biology Battle being one of my favorites, I think I'm still ranked in the top 100 in it.

Also check out Undead Empire, great 8-bit style, w/online co-op. The sequel Hellfire isn't as good, but they're both only a buck.

Beat Hazard is also pretty fun too. The difficulty of the game scales to the beat of the music, it supports custom soundtracks too.
