Why does Phil hate Xbox owners? Do the developers/publishers of these games pay MS to force this crap on people? Do they pick games that nobody has purchased in the last 12 months? I don't get it.

It's so when they eliminate Gold people won't feel they lost anything.

What's even the point? So they can't double the price like they already tried so they're going to offer absolute crap every month to try and drive people towards gamepass while their competitor have their own version of GP but consistently put worthwhile games on PS plus.

It’s not quite the same as these games are “yours” even after Gold lapses. You can only access the PS Plus games with an active subscription.

This is what happens when a CEO of a trillion dollar company ties their bonuses to a service like Game Pass. Even the new Dashboard coming in 2023 is result of this, it isn't what we asked for, and is just one big Game Pass ad from what I have seen.
 
I'm sure they want to end this because there is no reason for it, but you know how the press will be making hot clicks titles to make it look like MS is robbing people.

I'd be pleased with 1st party games from the OG Xbox instead of the monthly trash they offer up. They don't have to be newer games, but at least make them good.
