No, it's over. Any game you get beyond this year will be treated as a PS5 game.
PS4 will still get PS exclusive games based on their history with previous generations of PS. So no, it’s not over. The great thing about Sony and PS, they don’t give up on their consoles. They keep supporting them.

You realise nobody said they didn't, right? You also realise these games will be nothing but "also coming to PS4," right?

This gen is done. In 10 months and beyond it will be all about PS5.

Clearly we are not on the same page here, or we are not understanding each other.

Windows Central: How did the Xbox console debut for this game come together?

Maciej Glomb: I'm not too sure if I'm honest because I wasn't there talking about the details. I think what we really wanted to aim [for] is that Xbox doesn't have that [many] story-driven games? It is much less than, for example, PS4? So we wanted to hit that target. We're right now focusing on Xbox and PC. But we're not saying that we won't release the game on other platforms.

I wondered why it was exclusive.

Who are you talking to, and what are you talking about?

Who ever listens...? Just saying if ea sticks to what they’ve done in the past with most of their sport titles, continuing to release the years after sans anything new but the next gen mostly just looks pretty and is missing and I’m digressing but there’s other details that escaped my mind cos I’ve had no sleep in now 52 hours >,< but I’m ok

Hmmm...not sure I agree. Although, I only play FIFA. If memory serves the first new gen game is often the one with the biggest advancements as far as gameplay goes.

“We love that you want to see our cars in all your favourite racing games, and honestly, we want the same thing. Most of us in the Toyota GB social media team fell in love with cars through games like TOCA, Daytona and Gran Turismo. One of us even has fond memories of Pole Position on the Atari! Officially, Toyota Motor Corporation has no concrete plans to license its model range to any other games besides Gran Turismo Sport at the moment. When you challenge us as to why Toyotas don’t appear in your favourite racing games, we don’t want to reply to you with a generic message, but we’re currently limited in what we can say and yesterday we got our response wrong. We’ll be really excited to share our future plans with you as soon as we’re able to. In the meantime, whether it’s Gran Turismo Sport, Forza or Need for Speed, keep on racing.”

Why GT SPORT? Cuz it’s Japanese?

Some people believe so, I don’t know, there may be some favoritism with polyphony being Japanese, it’s a known selling of Japan. Others say it’s because they don’t want to partake in anything involving street/illegal racing or aid them with selling new cars. But said statement was released way before GT Sport.

Honestly think their second response was pretty good and honest (for a multi billion company).
They seem like a good hearted company.
Lol at GT sport though

The response to NFS is funny. But doesn't explain the Forza absence.

I remember reading theirr reasoning a few years back and it read more like they were blaming games for low sales or worsening consumer perception.
