It's XB brand needs all the help it can get.

But does it need help in countries where it’s doing ok, like here in the states, Canada, Mexico, UK, Australia? Where it needs help is in countries like Japan, South Korea, and every other country it’s not sold in that Nintendo and Sony are

It's doing ok? No it's not actually... XB destroyed PS3 in NA last gen.
What little market share they earned then is lost in NA and 360 has almost double the XBO's sales.

Go in most stores including Gamestop and PS4 has more of a presence than XBO.

So a hurting GS and a XB brand that pales in popularity,sales and in store presence needs this merger or whatever they are calling it.

I concur. We are 7 years in and it’s probably at around 60 million sold. I have to wonder if they will keep the Xbox One S going forward as a bargain bin entry for a few more years. That could still bring it to the 70s. By far their second best gen.

Bottom line, if you're a Playstation gamer, avoid Game Stop. If you're little Timmy's confused Grandma, you're walking out with an Xbox and All Access.
