Do you have any gaming paraphernalia? You know, anything besides the console and the games themselves:

  • Posters, prints
  • Statues, figurines
  • T-shirts
  • Key-chains
  • Other doo-dads
  • Special display cases
  • Action figures
  • Misc "swag"
  • Stuff that comes in a collector's edition

Just wondering. I'm not much of a paraphernalia guy myself. I had a Jade Empire t-shirt once, which was given to me free, but I think that's it. I pinned a map of Morrowind to my wall for about a year, but that came from inside the standard game case, so I guess it doesn't count.

Just my Xbox Live beta testers zip pack with the disks and orange memory card. I threw away the I've got great hands t-shirt as it as just too big.

I still have my Halo 3 Helmet.... and that's about it.

I used to have a Gears of War 2 carboard display thingy I won for some trivia question at Gamestop at a midnight release party...

Edit: wait, it can't come in the box? ... nevermind, then! I do still have it on the shelf, though. My wife has been trying to get rid of it for years! Or at least hide it! :D

I never played Halo 4, but I have the Master Chief with the pancho on, from the H4 trailer. Still in it's package, mainly because I like how it looks. I got a Lord of the Rings: War of the North statue from my brother for a birthday gift. It's a giant troll in mid-battle against a dwarf. Also got a cool lunchbox with Cartoon Network. Got it from a Gamestop pre-order for a game that was essentially Super Smash Bros, but with CN characters. I also got a Mario & Luigi promotional cardboard poster I took from a Target I used to work at. It's pretty cool, even though it just hangs out in my closet and some idiot thought it'd be a good idea to staple it to the damn wall. Now if I want to move, I gotta take the staples out, leaving two small holes on the graphic. I thought it might make for a cool sale one day.

The classic stuff I have somewhere buried in my parents basement (I posted in older threads). Although I'm pretty sure the poster I got is slightly different.... bu close enough.

Other stuff I remember over the years:

Mattel used to release an annual mini-booklet telling what games are coming. I'm pretty sure there were 2-3 of them. I'm sure my parent's box of Intelli stuff has some. Here's one of them. Back then, the number of games were small and no internet so promotion was all about print.

And talk about bullshots. Many games had totally fictitious images. That D&D art was nothing like the real D&D games. Not only BS art, but vague BS descriptions. In no Intelli D&D game were there "teammates". And no D&D game had ghosts or sorcerers either. But dragons, yes. On the other hand, bowling looks like the real game ansd the description and features are accurate.

My buddy got me some kind of Gears of War band-aid collectible. It's a weird thing. It's a small cardboard box. Reading up on it it says it was a pre-order bonus, but I'm positive I never got it though I re-ordered GoW3. Instead, my buddy got freebies downtown so he gave me one

During the Genesis days, EA's NHL 93 or 94 included a hockey card in it. I don't remember if it was a real card from a sports company or a made up EA Sports card, but I remember getting Pierre Turgeon. Pretty sure I threw it in the garbage.

Edit.... here's an image of it I found online.

I should have kept the CoD WaW canteen. Trading back games, I didn't know that stores don't care about the collectible. The clerk didn't care about it. I decided just to give the whole package. Looking back I should have taken back the canteen.

Oh, it can come in a box -- collector's edition stuff, etc.

I think that's what happened to my Jade Empire t-shirt, lol.

p.s. Side-benefit of this thread, I learned how to spell paraphernalia. Didn't realize it had an "r" in it.

omg, is there a better gif in existence?

I think my favorite still is my Vault-Tec bobblehead on my desk. My son carried that Fallout3 lunchbox to school for awhile too. Still use my Forza 3 zipdrive. Lara Croft figure on the shelf. We subscribe to Loot Crate and they have sent us a ton of interesting video game related items, just this month there was a Zelda sweatband. My most unique video gaming item is a signed Nolan Bushnell/Howard Warshaw signed Atari 2600 along with a stanky copy of E.T. from the Alamogordo dig.

Upcoming is a PS4 Pipboy edition and I have no idea what I will do with it, but there is high demand for it.

Got a Hori Real Arcade Pro VX SA Kai stick and one of those 360 controllers with the adjustable dpad. Still have an old Guitar Hero 2 explorer somewhere that I used with GH 2+3 and RB1+2. I sold those games off.

Must have been NHL 94 unless the SNES didn't come with it. I had NHL 93 and don't remember a card. Or at the time they just said lol US doesn't like hockey and didn't bother with one.

First one I remember getting was a Soul Calibur Nightmare figure that a friend got me at a Chicago comic con. I also have the Ass Creed 2 (Ezio) and Brotherhood (doctor jack-in-the-box) statues. The most recent thing though is the MKX Scorpion statue. Only other thing coming I know I will have to buy are the Killer Instinct figures. Wish they were full statues but while they are on stands it looks like they do have articulation. One that I recently found that I really want but lol price: The Keeper from Evil Within.

I have a s*** load of collectibles from Final Fantasy and Silent hill and blah blah, but so do 100,000 people.

My most prized possession, that is collectable, but quasi non-game related, is a screen printed cushion of Tori Spelling from her own home being repossessed!

One of the worlds best actors! I own her cushion!!
