Because I'm old and didn't get the subtle subliminal references earlier, I reinstalled Gears 5. I have to say it still looks and plays great. Especially the Hivebusters DLC which uses lots of bright vivid colors for its local.
Ah. Why not just say that? *Old man yelling at cloud*
Yesterday's Last of us part 2 announcement. Basically to point out MS did all that at no extra charge.
So???I get that is the point, but at the same time all of that stuff already existed in the PC version of Gears 5.
Which means it all existed already, it wasn't like they had to put in an ass ton of work to upgrade the game. So???
Again. So? The point is cost to consumer.Which means it all existed already, it wasn't like they had to put in an ass ton of work to upgrade the game.

No they offered an actual upgrade instead. Not just a few bits of cut content masquerading as a Remaster. The point is they didn't add any new levels or modes for free with that update either like they are doing with TLOU2R and I am not defending TLOU2R. I think it's a rip off. Even for 10 dollar upgrade.
It got dull. I never finished it either.I keep forgetting to complete this game. Gears 4 got off to an awful start, but picked up. Gears 5 got off to a great start, but either it really slows down when you're snowmobile-sailing around the landscape, or I just need a better attention span for this type of traversal.
And the SensitivityTraining Station. I'm really hoping the Gears of War series gets back to it's "Let's Rock" spirit and completely removes the "here's how I emotionally feel about our current situation" segments. Gears of War 2 actually had a "shut up" button for goodness sake.No thanks. Gears 6 please. Let Sony be the RemasterStation.
