ots of spoilers, hardly. As long as you stop when they try to open the main gate then it is basically just gameplay.
It's showing up on my phone as the ultimate edition.
You're screwed and not meant to play it.
I just used the Xbox app (not the gamepass one). I had an option to Install just searching the store for Gears 5. The Gamepass app is funny like that sometimes.
if you go to the early access tile it will give the option to predownload...atleast on the Xbox dash, not sure from the app.
I was looking for it on the Gamepass app. It's not there. It's in the Xbox app.

Also, I haven't paid any attention to this game at all since it was announced, but when can we play this with Game Pass? Is it Friday like the regular release date?

Those of you who preordered the Gears 5: Ultimate Edition or are a part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you'll be pleased to know that the early-access date has been moved up to September 5 at 9 PM local time. For example, North American early access will begin at simultaneously at 9 PM EDT, 7 PM CDT, and 6 PM PDT. This means that you'll be able to play the game a few hours early because it was supposed to launch on September 6 at midnight.

The USgamer review is a bit odd. Also, not a single mention of competitive multiplayer, which is why most buy the game.Gears 5

MP games really shouldn't be reviewed before launch. At least do review in progress if you have to put something out.
But Gears popularity was built off the back of its campaign.
