Im guessing the graphics card is the culprit.
TLOU2 Remastered is definitely playable, but like I said before, mild framerate issues and runs at 1080p. It rans Counter-Strike 2 pretty well and I think it can run PUBG well as well(haven't tried it though).
I paid $200 for everything so can't complain, but now seeing that my friends also have PCs, kind of makes me want to get into PC gaming more. I just don't know a thing about building one.
Yes. The GPU is usually (though far from always) the culprit when graphically demanding games run bad.
Like @wshowers was saying though, building a PC right now is a serious investment. I do it for work (I'm a software engineer at Google) as well as play. I need serious horsepower alot of the times for different programs I build and run involving AI workloads. I also want to game at high refresh rates and maxed out graphics.
However, YMMV and be prepared to spend alot to be on the cutting edge. My previous rig when I built it with the 3090 back in 2020 was a little north of $5000 USD once all was said and done. That was during COVID and the GPU/mining situation was insane. However, if you do decide to get into it go with AMD for CPU and NVIDIA for GPU. Those are the two champions when it comes to getting the best performance as of now....(Intel CPUs for gaming are not competitive with AMDs top processors and Nvidia has dominated the high end GPU market now for at least 2 generations unfortunately...)
