Uhhhh...what?

They had him do a bunch of these when Dance Central 3 came out and put them all over social media.

He did them for Christmas, new year, mother's day and so on. All awkward 10 second videos like that one.

Nostradamus.

Hmm. Who is this supposed to be from? Why would anyone hand write all that?

Check my post above the one with the pics. Whole story behind it is there , but of course it’s the internet so who knows how true it is.

Anyone have a B3D account? I can’t see the pics, so please post if possible (pics are in this post but won’t link here without an account):

“It's interesting that you mention this, because something like that was send a while back to a good friend of mine that works for one of the larger european tech/games/console websites. Since this is the baseless next gen rumors thread I've reached out to him after I saw you're post, and asked if I can share it.

He told me the person who send them the info provided them correct information in the past. But he only ever provides information as a middleman. Basically: "my brother knows someone, that in turn knows someone, whose grandma knows a dog which is the pet of an Engineer working on project XXX, which brought her a schematic for XYZ" type of stories.

Of course they wanted more assurance. But since they didn't get it from the middlemans source they didn't published it. The gist of it is:

Apparently the source was "leaking" this stuff to keep the expactations in check after reading many unrealistic expactations of over 14 TFLOP on the forums. The middleman sat down with a new source and received information on Lockhart, Anaconda, the Dev Kit and xCloud/Anthem v3. According to himself the middleman was very skeptical and asked the source to answer all questions and write everything down on the spot in order to see if they make mistakes or pause for a while which would make the info even more suspect. But according to the middleman that was not the case, everything was written down fluidly, so he made pictures of the pages and send them to the website my friend works for.

The amount written down: 11 A4 pages pure text and 5 A4 pages with data/drawings. I've only seen 5 pages text and 3 pages data/drawings. Some data is made unreadable, I don't know what was written there. I also don't know what was written on the other pages since I've never seen them.

I'm allowed to share these 8 pages:

Yeesh. Pretty obscure, however, keeping expectations in check is a good rule of thumb....

A round up of the recent rumours pretty much already posted by Rollins. Goes into some technical details on the rumours but definitely worth a watch.

Probably dev kits which always use more ram. I wouldn’t expect any more than 16 gigs, especially if it’s gddr6 which I would imagine is more expensive than previous types.

I tend to agree with this, but the supposed specs of the anaconda dev kit that were leaked a few weeks ago show 48 gigs.
Again, unverified.

This is why Raytracing is so amazing.

Wow, just adding Raytracing can give games a next gen look. It’s quite the resource hog but hopefully devs can make efficiency gains by the time next gen comes round and this is a mod I believe so hopefully a game developed with RT from the ground up will be more efficient.
As you mentioned previously, if only one of the next gen consoles has specific hardware to implement RT opposed to just a software implementation, that could have a significant impact on performance between the consoles.

If we compare the PS5 Specs leak with the Anaconda leak, Then history is about to repeat itself... Only this time there will be a 3TF difference in Sony's favour.

Are you sure you aren’t referring to Lockhart?

It's a bit early to start the vs stuff isn't it? We know nothing.

Quite sure 11 TF'S vs 14,7 TF'S

Actually, the speculation ranges between 9-14 for the PS5.

Honestly, given the rumour of offering a high and low-end SKU, MS may be going big for the top end version. If Sony is only offering one, they'll have more incentive to balance price and power.

If they cost the same, I'd expect very Similar power profiles.

I’m hoping for two beastly machines, one from each camp but if there’s gonna be a cheaper version may it be one sans disk drive and maybe two games, maybe one from the 360 and the other of the one era

I'm hoping the Xbox is better hardware for one reason. They need it to be, for the third party edge. It's the only way they'll be semi competitive.

Sony is going to do what they do. Create beautifully cinematic games.

There is no way to know the TFs of the PS5 with the official specs that have been given. They left out too much info.

And we don’t have any official specs from MS yet. All the above are just rumors.

It may not come down to straight up TF power. With the implementation of Ray Tracing, a console with less power might come out on top if said console had specific hardware to help with RT opposed to a software implementation.
I too think that to be competitive next gen MS need an edge on the hardware side. Sony have the mindshare when it comes to exclusive games and although the future looks promising for MS exclusive games (they could put out exclusives quarterly on game pass with 12 studios on 3 year development cycle) , they’ve still got a lot to prove in many gamers eyes.
I’m hoping both are beasts as I’ll be buying both at some point. PS5 for VR and exclusives and I’ll be buying third party wherever they look best.

So is the PS5 Specs, But they point to 14TF for PS5. Everything in that leak has turned out to be true so far , Further evidence by DF is here

Last thing i write in here... You Guys have your believes, And I have mine.

You should probably watch and listen to what he says, then, rather than scraping the largest number they throw out there. When they're going with the theoretical number of flops based on the number of active GCN compute units, they do say that if they ship with the full GCN limit of 64 it would hit 14.7F, but at 7.20: "But remember, it's unlikely that a console system on chip will ship without some of those compute units disabled to improve yields from the production lines." And then keep listening because he then explains why you should be prepared for disappointment if you're expecting that 1.8 clock - and why he expects a max of 10-12 TF max for an expensive console.

Im quite aware of that, Thank You. The leak said it was capable of 14TF, not that it would have that@retail.

So why keep pushing a 14tf value if you know it won't hit it? Unless you are just trolling the XBOX crowd in here? It's all speculation, but you seem to be talking down to those who have presented contrasting information that was actually stated in the videos you are referencing. You are cherry picking a made up number and touting it as fact.
