Noticed a new glitch on my Series X. My display on the console will all of a sudden will be set at 1080p and will not let you pick 4K. Restart the console it goes back to 4K.
For a while my tv would freak out upon start up, it’ll go from 1080 to 720 to 4k to 1080 upon loading the home screen and then you can kinda notice when it transitions to 4k for whatever game I load up at its initial splash screen. Now it just stays between 4k and 1080 on the appropriate menus/screen/app/game
I’m also still having problems with disc movie playback. At times Blu Rays and 4Ks look great then all of a sudden picture goes to s*** and you can clearly see something isn’t right.

okay, I had the same where it will change and I couldn't get back into 4k. I did some changes and so far *knock, knock* so good.
I just picked up the Series S for my Daughter from Bestbuy. She is going to be happy!

my daughter games as much as I do, but she is not picky about the hardware. She doesn't see it as us.
So when she unboxed her console she asked where is the brick for the power plug.

I never played the Stalker series and had recently got them on a Steam sale earlier this year.
I played the Halo collection for the first time on my Series X. Holy crap. They did a ton to improve those games.

I'm playing Halo 4 right now, and it's freaking BEAUTIFUL! These don't look like 2 and 3 generation old games at all! They look modern AF! They were already looked great on Xbox One X. Now they look next level again. The slider is perfect for very large screens.

He's always pretty spot on, but I've got to say that he doesn't know patents very well. Esp since that VR controller patent is specifically a design patent. The images in that patent are much more different from the WMR controllers than they are from the Oculus Touch controllers. In the patents, the tracking ring actually slants around the back of the hand, whereas the WMR controllers protrude forward. They actually aren't even close in design! For instance, the other patent award that showed up at the same time was the 2-tone design from the Cyberpunk Xbox One controller... very specific.
Anyway, B Sams did answer a question for me this past Friday about how he felt about VR on Xbox in the year 2021, in general. I was actually surprised of his positivity! My name drop (he can never pronounce it right) @ 23:25.
