Ghost of Tsushima - Directors Cut Rated By ESRB For PS4/5

If Sony doesn't do Smart Delivery... They will resell these exclusives as PS5 only games.

That will most likely be the case, which just means I’ll wait for the remaster, or whatever they will call the PS5 version. I never play through single-player games twice, and I’d rather play the best version.

Excited for this one though, looks like it has a lot of potential, and I love the setting.

Looks great, not sure if that release date will stick with TLOU2 coming out less than a month before but we'll see, I'm sure they want to get on to marketing PS5 as well.
Wait!!! TLOU 2 releases in June also? Damn!!

I'll also be waiting to see what Sony does with upgrades to games before I play. Looks really good though.

So we have FF7 Remake in April, Last of Us 2 in May and Ghosts of Tsushima in June. Its hit after hit from the Sony hit factory.

I wonder if Sony decided against any major titles for the fall to avoid the almost certain to be a huge retail success of Cyberpunk 2077. Not that it matters because I'd rather these games come as soon as they can.

Agreed that's alot of big hitters real close to one another. Unless Sony knows something about the fall that we don't....

Just in time for remasters for PS5 release. I mean unless they are going to unveil something completely unexpected, they don’t have any major titles for launch, so the timing works out well.

I don't know if Cyberpunk has as much to do with it as the new PS5 might. Depending on how they want to handle BC they might want to get front loaded sales now.

You could be right. I just thought with the new console on the horizon it would have made sense to hold something off for PS5 release. But if Sony is indeed planning on offering gamers the chance to double dip then I can see how this timing makes sense to them.

I just wish I had more PS5 game data to go on. I've seen some say we won't get a big leap in graphics but the performance boost will be obvious. And then there are others that have said nexgen PS5 graphics will blow PS4 Pro out of the water. Ehhhh whatever, I've double dipped before when I felt it was worth it and I'll do it again if I feel the need.

Both. The Graphic jump will be obvious for next gen exclusives. Third party maybe not so much thanks to MS's strategy of no exclusives for two years.

It wouldn't be out of character for them to push it until August or September, I mean I know TLOU2 was delayed and that the May 29th date wasn't on their original roadmap but they've got quite a few big hitters coming out this spring and early summer. They may want to get them all out though so they can focus their marketing on the PS5 and the launch titles they haven't announced yet.

Not buying till Sony says how they are handling these games on PS5.

I'm holding off on a few third party games like Doom and Avengers that have been heavily hinted at by their devs to be coming to next gen as well and games that have been announced as coming to next gen like Watch Dogs Legion and a few other Ubisoft games. I'm pretty sure with TLOU2 and GoT I'll probably be up to play them twice, those other games I doubt it.

They are rumored to have PS5 exclusive games for launch so we won't know what those are (if the rumor is true) until they announce more details. It's also possible that some of the biggest PS4 releases get upgrades for PS5, I know a lot of people are speculating they may do that for Horizon ZD because of it's supposed PC release.

Why would you? Just buy it the day before for pre-load. Not like it is going out of stock.

i know, but I wanted the collectors edition, cos I love the art direction/color-palette. But I’m surprised that it, the CE variant, didn’t sell out, like other major titles... with all the initial hype I thought I was gonna miss this one like others, cos I say to myself “it’ll be there tomorrow”. It’s still up!

How do you know? Do you work at Sony?

If you have an official list, please post it.

I’m going based off what’s been announced. If they have some surprises that would be great, but we’re about 6-8 months from launch and there haven’t been any significant rumors about any other launch titles, at all.

I don't think that means much although their launch lineups usually aren't very good

There were some crazy rumors of potential Motorstorm and/or Socom reboots for launch, but nothing has panned out yet.

I’m still thinking the big sell will jacked-up versions of Ghosts and TLOU2.

Its pretty unlikely we wouldn't see something of note at launch. Even if it maxed out at something like Demon Soul's and Ratchet and Clank. We know of a lot that is in development we just don't how far along these games are.

If they wanted to rely on their 2020 PS4 offerings they would have delayed Ghosts of Tsushima.

The console hasn't revealed yet. How do you know they won't have any games? I need a source. 😂🤣😂
