That video is a bit of a joke, two totally different areas of the map, different weather conditions, different lighting and they used lower quality footage for the new gameplay. The horse looks different, it's all one color instead of spotted but for all we know you can use different horses. When you watch the "ghost" gameplay things stand out better, the shine on the enemy armor etc is all still there.

The new gameplay video efinitely doesn't look better in any area and considering how much more objects are rendered in the distance in the old gameplay I'd say yeah, it's downgraded.

Still, game looks great.

What's rendered more in the distance? Again they are not in the same spot, you still see things far out into the distance, that huge building poking out behind trees, fire burning, boats out in the water etc, it's just a different area of the map. When the game releases and we can compare the same spots directly if it doesn't look as good I'll agree there was a downgrade but there are too many variables with open world games that have changing weather, lighting and time of day to compare, landscapes can't be compared either because they aren't all the same. This one has more tall trees in it than the old one did, the old one was just fields of flowers which are still in the game we see that during the photo mode demo,.

Yup, I am not bothered by the downgrade, still looks sexy as hell.

Definitely in the trees and lighting complexity. Textures are lower res. Honestly it looks like they dialed everything down a notch. I think it still looks great though, and I will always love individual blades of dynamic grass despite being unnaturally large. Looks faboo. Also love the cloth sim. Certainly they are running whole open world now so something has to give.

Nah, I feel like the vast majority of games have ragdoll, but to get some of the reactions they frankly needed to have in this game, they couldn't do that.
 
I'm a little concerned that with rumors of TLOU 2 pushing PS4 systems hard like GOW and Horizon Zero Dawn did, Ghost will do the same and I'll have to filter out the PS4 jet engine fan noise with something.

I think I am going to attempt to disassemble mine before TLOU2 hits just to make sure it is cleaned out. Our house is spotless, but I guess you never know.

Mine is definitely louder now compared to when it was new. I'm considering taking mine apart and inspecting it as well.

Edit: I've watched several disassembly videos, and the top of mine won't come off. I don't see it even as a possibility without a pry tool being used.

Stop using non-inclusive & detoriative terms like a "downgrade". It's dehumanizing & shows your gamer privilege at work. Its call "change of artistic direction"!

Do it!

for my brother-in-law I had his ps4 cleaned out and it’s so quite now, maybe quieter than when he bought it (it’s a day one ps4). It had like a carpet of dust and lint that was peeled off. And if you use the stand clean out them vents too, they’re hella small and were packed with lint.

oh and had them put new thermal paste in it too.

Several, including one created by Sony. I'm a fairly strong human, and I don't think it's possible to open mine without using something to pry it open.

I guess I won't try it. I am a small guy so I doubt I will get it either.
