I think this game is the last of the pre-established binding contract with other platforms game. So, from here on out, it is plain sailing for Bethesda & Co.
I think Hi-Fi Rush is the first game from Bethesda that was entirely designed around PC/Xbox? Graphically and performance-wise, they knocked it out of the park.

Was in early stages and would have been MP until MS bought Bethesda.

So what you you are saying, there are none? What about Pentiment? Was that a PS game too?

No. That was a game they said came largely thanks to GP.

Don't know how far Rush was when MS bought it. Might have just been in the test stages.

So!! You said you you can detect a slight delay. Which means all games annoy you.

Some more than others yes.

Golden standard is PC that can hit 160 frames with 160hz vrr. The input response also varies depending on the game engine .

Definitely notice some kind of input issue even on performance. I've tried adjusting the acceleration/deceleration but it's not tight like other shooters.

Out of curiosity I decided to give VRR a try. Haven't bothered yet since I use a receiver instead of direct to TV. Had all the bells and whistles enabled like ALLM as well and ran the game on HFR Quality with VSync and it did run well. That said, not sure it was really any better than just Performance mode. I'm not sure what my TV does to picture quality with VRR but it did seem to take a hit to not really make it worth it.

Hmmm maybe it depends on the game? It’s like a corrective/adjustment thing for games with bad frame rates?

HFR Quality enables RT and unlocks fps but runs only at 1080p . Performance runs at a higher resolution albeit at 60 fps which I feel is the best way to play.

I need to go back to this at some point. Its fun but better games sort of took over.

Yeah I enjoyed it, but was not blown away. I did like that they pulled off fun and not frustrating boss fights. That’s a rare feat in gaming
