Reviews all over the place. Sitting at a 76 on Opencritic: https://opencritic.com/game/12720/ghostwire-tokyo

One big thing, apparently this runs like sh*t on PS5 - glad I went the PC route. Also it has horrible input lag even after adjusting all the settings. That's a big Nah DAWG

Quote from a review:

Performance on PS5 is abysmal, even in performance mode you get frequent drops while exploring above ground or while in combat. Input lag is horrible even after tweaking settings

Let us know how the gameplay is like.

Kind of sucks though if input lag is significant even on PC.

I'm going to wait for a sale or for the Game Pass release in a year. It looks fantastic and I know I'll love it, but I'm still way too into Elden Ring to get this now.

To think you would even get this sentiment when I didn't mention anything about the Playstation, lol. You need to stop looking at everything I post as a console warring thing. It's unhealthy.

I am not watching 2 hours of that to see what they said about the Xbox version!

I only caught the part where they said it will be something to play when it comes to GamePass (about an hour and 28 minute mark).

Yeah, turned of CA, motion blur and film grain using UE4 tips - otherwise it's too blurry and sh*t

I'm somewhere in chapter 2 and really enjoying it. Love the style and graphics are very good. Reminds me of old 360 era starbreeze games.

Playstation Store has Ghostwire Tokyo for the PS5 for $39.99 USD and $52.79 CAD on Playstation store right now.

Supposed to hit PS+ this month (though it's never there when I check), i may start it on PS5, then restart on XSX when the GamePass version releases.

EDIT: March 21st on PS+ - I wonder if we'll stealth receive the Standard game (without the new DLC) at the same time on Game Pass.

The Spider’s Thread game mode puts players through a gauntlet of 30 stages, pulled from a selection of 120 hand-crafted levels, with the sole goal of reaching the end. Progressing through the levels lets the player earn in-game money, unlock more skills, and gain upgrades.

New parts of Ghostwire: Tokyo’s map are also being opened up, headlined by the local Middle School area, and each new location comes with new missions and mysterious to uncover.

A variety of new enemies are also being added to the game including the invisible Silent Gaze and elusive Retribution, and players can unlock new skills designed to counter the spooky beasties.

Tango Gameworks has also promised that the Spider’s Thread update will come with a variety of quality of life improvements to make players’ journeys through the haunted version of Tokyo a little smoother.
