Is it available yet? I know MS tried it through Amazon but now most games are not available. Can you gift a game on PSN? This is something that should be standard next gen. Since MS is no longer using points, being able to gift a game is the only way to gift anything Xbox Live wise.

I was actually wondering about that yesterday. In the past I had told people to buy me MS points for Christmas, birthday, etc. Now what?

Had been nice to be able to gift games on console yes, have not noticed anything on PSN about gifting.
If they somehow could do something similar to how it is done on Steam could be a great feature next gen.

Isn't Microsoft going to have gift cards? PSN does card for your "Wallet". I would MS would do the same. I haven't really looked, but since I'm going digital...I'd be asking for gift cards to MS store.

What happens to Microsoft Points Cards?
Xbox Gift Cards (denominated in your local currency) will be available for purchase in retail stores and through online retailers starting in late 2013. Microsoft Points Cards you purchase in retail stores will continue to be redeemable on your console and Xbox.com until further notice. Microsoft has no plans to discontinue acceptance of previously purchased Points cards and codes.

I'm guessing we should see them next month or so. At least when everything launches.
