Unless these things come direct from official sources then it shouldn't be believed anyway, that is just common sense.
Better to have a rock solid release date than a flimsy hopeful one like Starfield had.

Probably not as per usual for Single Player games.
Even some MP don't carry over. Overwatch 1 to 2 is one of the exceptions though.
Sometimes things do carry over in SP games too, but it is rare. Sometime it is decision making, but GOW didn't have a decision tree or anything. No biggie!
I prefer starting over new anyways. Don't remember what tree or build I was going and the devs may also have implemented a new battle system
The problem is there are real leakers and then people who are given info to "leak" as part of marketing. That Jez guy is clearly given things to say by someone at MS, if they were upset with all of his leaks the guy would be cut off from any contact with MS. Schreier leaks negative stories against all of the companies so his stuff is legit leaks and he is actually connected. Either way though the legit leakers shouldn't be giving out dates etc that's not for them to do, there are people who work at these companies that are paid to set up marketing campaigns etc and it should be up to the people who work their asses off to give those dates out.

I'm of the thinking that if this really was still on track then why no date? Why bump the supposed announcement? I think it isn't on track but they are trying to get it there. I bet, if it doesn't get delayed to early 2023, it gets a mid to late December date.
