This game looks like it will be an actual first next-gen hit. It's a pure next-gen title. I may get it on PC. All MP & competitive games, I play on the best competitive & MP platform. Also it cost 20€ less.

My hype for the game drop to zero when I found out my pc cannot run it.

also other than the visuals, there is. There is little things that make me excited. Everything feels sameish like other loot „shooter“

It gives me Too Human vibes. I'm one of the seven people who liked that game, though.

I'm still kinda interested in it. I like the look of it. May try it down the road.

Everything I have seen or hears sound average at best. Short campaign, uninspired loots. Combats looks like every soul like game.

Winner is my wallet

Little PC gameplay/benchmark with a GPU no one can purchase. Decent looking game that looks very repetitive and a future gold mine for MTX.

Pretty much IGN sums up what I seen so far. Shallow gameplay. I have follow the game for a while, & everything I have seen suggests repetitive smashing.

I played a bit of Metroidvania game Vigil to see what the fuss is all about this Metriodvania thingy, that people rather play 2-2,5D ish game that looks at home at a time when boys still hung M2M posters (I did), than AAA games.

After playing & beating Vigil, I can understand. It is the charm of exploration, finding & reaching secret areas, unlocking skills & ability that make you progress in power & traversing. Things many AAA seems to have lost.

Godfall surely Sally decent with its visuals, animation & combat, but pretty much failed in every other category. There is a saying about screenplay that because almost any idea/genre is done, to make a good screenplay, you need to be able to have at least 2 ideas/genre. I think the same can be said about game.

Games like God of war combine Good storytelling with good combat & exploration & RPG lite. Uncharted series, rely on combat lite, plus exploration & action sequences like car chase, & decent story.

If you look at Godfall, it has decent combat, sure, & loot & RPG lite, which is a bit short of other good game & make it a forgettable get it on sales game.

Its not bad, but imagine if they push either the loot rpg part, or add some minimal exploration to break the repeitiveness.

I don't know. I am watching this on Twitch right now, trying to decide if I will buy it. I think I will. It's not pretty, but It looks like fun to me. "How long to beat" says 15 hours.

Played for a little while last night. So far it’s 100% hack and slash. I’m playing on easy because I suck at these games. You actually can’t choose your difficulty until you finish the first mission. Same with choosing your character.

I am having fun beating down enemies. So far the only thing I don’t like is that I have to walk over loot to get it after I break things or unlock treasure chests. I like when it comes to me.

Also you can’t jump unless prompted to jump.

If it wasn't always online and uber repetative as I hear, I think I would be all over Godfall. As it is I'm going to have to wait for a substantial discount.

I wasn't aware it was always online. If it is, I sure can't tell. I didn't even know that there was some drop in/drop out co-op.

I know I am the only one in the world playing this...but here....
