Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in that movie!!! Well, I mean the actor/actress. ;) Funny, they're be playing as husband/wife and then playing as brother/sister in Avengers II. Anyhoo, the trailer looks good. I think Godzilla is bit... too big, wouldn't you say? Reminds me of Pacific Rim. HUGE robots/monsters.

I was thinking the same thing. It can't be worse than the last turd they called Godzilla right?

I don't think he's too big although it's hard to get a good sense of his size from the little bit of him we get to see.

Eh, not sure how to feel about it. On one hand, I love the direction they went with Godzilla so far. He already seems way cooler than the T-Rex knock-off, which, admittedly was a decent monster flick, but a bad Godzilla movie in my books, and many peopls books. One of the things I don't like is that it feels so over produced. There's just so much junk in it. You know? One thing I'll miss is the great backgrounds they had. They made a set for Godzilla to run around in. I especially loved it when they had Godzilla crash into a building. As the franchise got bigger, along with the budget, stuff like that became better and better. Don't wanna say it'll be bad, but it doesn't look like it'll beat out Godzilla 2000 for last great Godzilla movie.

That other American made Godzilla movie was AWFUL, of course it didn't help that my brother and I went to see it to get our minds off of our grandmother passing away the day before but it was just a bad movie in almost every way. The only good thing was the quality of the special effects but the writing, acting, casting, direction, the design of Godzilla himself etc were all just awful IMO. I think this one looks like it has a ton of potential and the trailer was very well done and I'm so glad they went with the traditional look for Godzilla this time instead of trying to make changes that weren't needed the way the other movie did.

I agree the trailer is well done, makes me wanna see the movie, from what little of Godzilla that is shown, it looks as if they kept him closer looking to the original Godzilla. I hope it isn't going to be to over-produced, I just wanna see Godzilla rippin' it up in some large urban area

This right here. That was the largest nail in the coffin, though there were numerous smaller ones, for me regarding the last American Godzilla movie. Why in the hell did they make him just a huge stupid looking T-Rex?!

Eh.....I'll watch just for Elizebeth Olsen and Bryan Cranston. Plus it cant really be worse than any of the others.

looks great but will he be breathing fire like OG Godzilla?

Oh No! There goes Tokyo! Go Go, Godzilla!

i have been reading this and everything that you know about the old godzilla will be the same here in this movie. Not that last one they did.

Easer to sell toys with that design more then likely. Movies look like it could be cool. will keep am eye on it. Also if you want a monster movie watch Pacific Rim that movie is f***ing great.

If I had to guess. I would say it was because of Jurassic Park and its huge success. The Broderick Godzilla movie came out in between JP 2 & 3.

Disagree. Pacific Rim is Mediocre.

Again with potty mouth.

Pacific Rim is up there with Casablanca. In fact I bet if pacific rim had been done in the fifties , that would have been Humfrey Bograt onnscreen going toe to toe with the kaiju.

Fact.

At least it would have had a person who could act. Pacific rim is filled with no talent hacks( Idris Elba Excluded) that make you cringe with every word. I'd rather watch battleship that Pacific Rim.

You're watching Pacific Rim for acting?

You're doing it wrong.

Hahaha.......Nah. Not specifically for acting. Just that the acting is so bad it is impossible for me to ignore. Maybe if the Robot action was better it may have helped, but everything from the writing to the action is mediocre.....IMO.

I saw it three times in IMAX. The robot action gave me a stiffy every time. But then again, I'm a fan of B Movies and this was a B Movie with a big budget. Only thing I didn't like where the two scientists. I used the scenes they were in to get more snacks from the lobby.
