Looking online. It seems a deal is in place with WB and they can't release it while the new Godzilla/Kong film is out. Japanese home media release was just announced for May but nothing else.

Toho has weird licensing processes internationally, they apparently charge an exorbitant amount for even extremely unpopular franchises.. There are rumors that Criterion may have the physical media rights (they released the Showa Era box set), but it hasn't been announced yet.

From what I have seen, it cant be released in teh same year as a Godzilla movie released by Warner Bros..Part of the licensing agreement.
