Can we get a rule on spoilers for at least a week please? I want to watch this but not sure when I can yet.
I highly advise avoiding any and all info about the movie, as there are some pretty major things that are likely to be spoiled all over the internet in the next 24 to 48 hours.

. WB is making Disney + look like a fool because so far every release we see it includes the price of my subscription. Disney makes me pay for the movie on top of the service.

So I ended up watching it last night due to some free time I shouldn't have had. s*** ruled. It was big, dumb, and really fun. Couldn't ask for more.

BTW Kong never lost. When Godzilla had his claw in him screaming at his face Kong screamed back and Godzilla backed off and walked away like a lil bitch. Same goes for when KONG (not that lil bitch) killed MechaGodzilla. Kong was ready to clap his cheeks again, but Godzilla backed off.

I'm glad you saw it, as I'm seeing / hearing spoilers all over the place already. I've seen merch related spoilers even, they'll probably have the "big" spoiler in the advertisements in a week or two.
It was really good except for the Eleven storyline. Don't know what they were thinking there but thankfully there isn't too much of them.

Literally the rest of the weak ass Titans from KOTM kneeled to his ass at the end of the movie. Kong did not and Godzilla backed as a sign of respect. Tell me who really won this fight? Not only that, but Kong was like "you can have this p**** ass s*** world I'm going to kick everyone's dick in The Hallow Earth" literally everything is bigger down there.
You won't win this argument. I do however agree her storyline was dumb as rocks. Also this movie needed more Kyle Chandler.
David Tyree Henry was awesome though, he was pretty funny and it's always nice to see my boy PaperBoi gettin some love. Just wish there was a better storyline than "hey where are u lol it's ur dad you've been gone for a while" Kyle Chandler.
Godzilla respecting Kong doesn't change the fact that Kong lost. Godzilla could have killed him right there when he had him pinned and if it wasn't for the humans Kong would have died anyway. Plus Kong dropped the axe at the end so he didn't want anymore of the Big Z
eh I don't know about all that but for sure that Deadpool 2 kid with the giant face should not have been in this movie. Not only is he annoying but you could cut him straight out of the movie and nothing is changed. Obviously you could and should cut the entire story but him especially
Except here's the deal, he didn't die and he never exactly submitted even if the movie wanted you to believe it. SHOW ME THE TAPES. Also, there should be zero issue involving the humans in helping him, because last time I checked that dumbass lizard needed the help of a giant moth (?????) to heal him against Ghidorah
Agreed. Just saying I liked David Tyree Henry's character a lot. Here's a question I kept asking myself while watching their scenes....why the f*** did they not just try and cut the wires that were being used on the other King Ghidorah head? Would have helped a loooooot
You can't deny that if there are no Humans Kong would have died. He would have twice in fact. Godzilla won definitively. Are you starting Konganon or something? You were probably yelling "stop the count" when Kong dropped Godzilla in round 2.
Another reason to take that storyline out. It reduces the threat of Mechagodzilla. Mechagodzilla should pose the same kind of threat that Ghidorah did if he were to win the fight but he doesn't.

Godzilla is lucky that Kong decided not to rip his head off at that moment in Round 2 is all I'm sayin. Also, Godzilla wouldn't have won round one if the stupid ass humans didn't have him locked up to get his ass kicked. Kong was already too weak to keep fighting and needed a nap after, just like eatin a big lunch on a Sunday...you're gonna need a nap. Godzilla also would have died if it wasn't for the moth jizzing all over him in the KOTM.

A buddy of mine brought up a pretty good point on that actually. MechaGodzilla was designed to fight Godzilla, not Kong, so he was kind of predestined to beat him, which he would have done fairly easily if Kong hadn't saved his short armed ass

I thought it was great! Lots of tropes from other big sci-fi action films, which made it funny.
I liked the human stuff when it was Kong's group, that little girl did a good job but Godzilla's crew was useless and didn't need to be there at all IMO, the dumbest parts of the movie involved those characters.
The new villain group was fine, could have worked them in without having anything to do with Millie Bobby Brown and her flunkies.
He was about to block his shot, Kong playing perfect defense and has the reach to smack that s*** down

Still at 79 on RT with 249 critics but it's a 95 with 2500 verified viewer ratings, I would have to think this is going to be the most popular of this current crop of WB Godzilla movies so far. Skull Island was great but it generally left out of the conversation for some reason.
I'm thinking about watching it again tonight, gotta see those Hong Kong scenes again!
That was so badass, we loved it! Glad we got to see it in theater this a film that shouldn’t be missed on the big screen. My two oldest boys were blown away lol. I was pleasantly surprised they kept a place and also a thing out of the trailers had a couple nice surprises. Definitely steer clear of spoilers and watch it ASAP.
We’ll probably watch it again tonight on HBO Max. Will be buying the 4K release. Give us more in this GodzillaCU plz.
