I think the game looks pretty sweet. I am always on the look out for good melee centric action games and the idea of being able to play it coop has the potential to be a ton of fun, especially since the game will have stealth aspects as well. Cautiously optimistic.
So in Gotham Knights, you play as Batwoman. So why not just call it batwoman? I am sure there is this other dude, whoever he is, Robin?.
Also, Batwoman gameplay looks like batman with boobs (The design looks good though I must say), & I haven't seen anything that appears really unique, expect she ride a bike, instead of a car.
Having said that, I am looking forward to the game.
Yes. Honestly never heard of red hood, or Nightwing. Most people will be paying as Batwoman anyway, but whatever.

So as someone who doesn't even know of Red Hood or Nightwing, you feel as though you can speak for 'most people' who will play this game? Really?

Right, because if you haven't heard of them only the hardcore fans have... I'm not even a comic book guy and I know of these characters and have zero interest in playing as batwoman. I think the game looks pretty awesome and I'll be playing as Robin or Red Hood
I think Robin looks pretty cool as well, but the teleporting thing is a little weird...
It's my opinion obviously. Does this need to be stated? Obviously I could be wrong., which is perfectly fine.
I didn't mean to sound like a d!ck, to me it just seems like such a baseless assumption. Sure they chose to highlight Batwoman as the playable character in the debut gameplay, but the trailer that came before it made it pretty clear there are 4 characters to choose from, and I'd wager the people who are interested in this game are for the most part fairly familiar with the extended 'bat-family' beyond Batwoman. Robin, Nightwing and Red Hood were all featured in Arkham Knight, Batgirl was only in post-launch DLC...

Not sure I've heard of Red Hood... I did read the Batman comics when I was a kid so I may have just forgotten that character.
Everyone has the right to voice their opinion, even calling other baseless. This is totally fine. The last thing we need is worrying about people getting offended & not being honest in voicing out our own opinions.
Also, I didn't see the trailer that came earlier, but I do think most people will play Batwoman, as she is the most recognizable hero out of the bunch. There is obviously Robin, what he has always been viewed as a sidekick (IMO). But I do not mind being wrong.
Again, as someone who isn't a comic book reader, it always seemed to me that both Robin & Nightwing were more well known and recognizable than Batgirl. Batgirl was always just as much a sidekick as Robin was, so I don't see how that would have any sort of impact on it. I get that many may not know who Red Hood is, but Batgirl just doesn't jump out as the most well known member of the group in pop culture to me. I guess it could just be because I played all the Arkham games and all 3 of those male characters were featured more heavily than Batgirl was, but from my perspective she just doesn't stand out as the one most would gravitate to or recognize more than Nightwing let alone Robin, even if he is the 3rd incarnation of Robin....
Its Batwoman, not batgirl. Anyway, Batwoman has an TV series currently, & going on 2nd season soon. The series is some sort of trouble, with lead actress quitting, & all but Batwoman definitely has more exposure in recent times.
Dude, that show is hot garbage, lol. Like super hot garbage. I have a weird fetish for watching youtube videos tearing apart each episode...
And didn't Nightwing have his own show on that DC streaming service? Wahtever you want to call the character, I simply don't think the demographic that'll be buying the game will be unfamiliar with the other choices of protagonist or gravitate to Batwoman moreso than the other choices. General population may have more pop culture familiarity with Batwoman compared to Red hood, but the majority of those buying the game will likely have an overall higher degree of familiarity with the other characters.
