I try to be nice and give credit to good or potentially good Xbox exclusive games like Forza 5, Killer Instinct, Forza Horizon, Sunset Overdrive, and Quantum Break. Unfortunately it seems they don't want to return the favor for good or potentially good Playstation exclusive games like TLOU, The Order, Driveclub, or the next Gran Turismo.

You really like to play the victim card, lol. It seems to be all you talk about. There is plenty negativity in most threads on both sides, but I've seen mostly positive on games like TLOU.

We know nothing about GT, but there were definitely issues that PD don't seem terribly keen to address. The polygon issue is nonsense, especially seeing that even at low levels PD does a fantastic job. But saying people shouldn't bring up the horrific audio is silly in a discussion about the game. Many GT fans didn't even bother picking up GT 6 it seems, although I hear it improved some aspects. Hell, it seems no one even talks about it. Certainly not to the level of GT 5. That may also have to do with the focus on the new consoles.

The Order is lauded universally for it's visuals, and some people (myself included) worry it may be overly linear. All of the footage they've shown makes Gears of War look like a wide open sandbox. Are people not supposed to talk about that? Or would they just be Playstation Haters?

the TLOU thread in just about completely positive other than people noting that it is more a remaster than a remake (obviously). Even those that say that still say the game is great. I think you are just reading what you want to read out of it.

If you don't think there is negativity in the FM5 and Killer Instinct threads... I don't know what to say. Sunset and Quantum will get more face-time once they've shown more. GamesCom BABY!

The difference between Xbox subforum game threads and PS subforum game threads is obvious. You have to be a blind hypocrite not to notice it.

Nobody said "people shouldn't bring up the horrific audio". As usual, you're making up baseless strawmen.

You are making up ridiculous and ignorant exaggerations about The Order.

TLOU thread has plenty of concern trolling, downplaying, "cash grab" talk, lies about in-game shots being bullshots or CG footage, and finding anything possible to be negative about.

You finish by shilling Xbox games being shown at Gamescom, of course.

Speaking of third party outsourcing....

I barely touched GT Sport but with the Cod Alpha coming out this weekend I finally turned my PS4 on since April and updated GT while I was at it. Hopefully find some time this weekend to give it a go again.

GT Sport has had some pretty awesome updates. Should keep you busy. I might do the alpha Sunday, we should hook up.

According to gtplanet.net, a Canadian advertisement for the Playstation 5 may have inadvertently leaked the information that Gran Turismo 7 is aiming for a launch date in "the first half of 2021." Initially, many assumed that this would be a launch title for the upcoming PS5 console, but as the console date got closer and closer, info on GT7 remained scarce. The Gran Turismo series is one of the most popular and beloved racing series around, so the hype around this installment being the first "next gen" Gran Turismo has been strong, to say the least. While Sony hasn't officially come out and confirmed this information in a follow-up statement, it's looking like a good bet that we won't have to wait too much longer for this latest installment.

My guess is 2022.

Prolly spend most time in sport mode to be honest, but nice to know there will be plenty outside that.

As I've said before this is the one game I'd definitely want to get a PS5 for, so at least there isn't a worry about finding one before this would launch.

Might be a cross gen game, because more players/return on investment (for the children)…

PlayStation Blog: How does PS4 factor into PlayStation Studios’ development vision? Is it still a focus internally for future game development?

Hermen: It very much is. You can’t build a community of over 110 million PS4 owners and then just walk away from it, right? I think that’d be bad news for fans of PS4, and frankly not very good business.

Where it makes sense to develop a title for both PS4 and PS5 — for Horizon Forbidden West, the next God of War, GT7 — we’ll continue looking at that. And if PS4 owners want to play that game, then they can. If they want to go on and play the PS5 version, that game will be there for them.

That being said, it’s also very important to have showpieces for PS5, hence the development of Returnal and Ratchet that are exclusive to PS5.

Well this is good. It makes for a very large community.

It seems all their big hitters are cross gen. But with GT7 likely to be the only GT game on PS5 it is a shame.
