Xbox One is far and away the better version. PS4 is weak as fook and now it is game over for Sony. They may as well just claim bankruptcy and slit their wrists.

Every gen had a few games with better versions on weaker consoles. Don't understand why some greatly care about it if the game is still good. Skipping a game you're interested in that plays and looks good on your console just because it runs a bit better on a console you don't own is VERY petty. Especially when you have little to no knowledge of how the game was made (goals, people/talent, team size, challenges along the way, etc.).
Without pasting the entire article, the differences seems negligible, but X1 wins visuals and frame rate. Performance is usually a given, but this time the lighting and character models look better on X1 too.

What a waste of better ram, more tflops and beefier cpu (double the CUs or ALUs.... whatever that spec is). In old gens a game made on let's say SNES would have better sound, colours and special effects than the Genesis game (as long as it's a game that stresses some kind of needed high end stuff.... not talking about a multiplatform game like Scrabble)

So at what point did the consoles generally pass their arcade counterparts in power? Offhand I'm thinking OG Xbox and PS2.
Not until the 360. That's when there was an arcade perfect Street Fighter game. Also, it wasn't until them that there was an arcade rivaling Mortal Kombat.
30fps vs 60fps isn't over 40%? Maybe you need to learn how to decipher plain English a little better..

You could have normal discussion on Teamxbox every once in a while. Now the Union is ran by trolls and Xbox One circle jerk fest. The Playstation forum is dead here on Union also. You could post a ton of Sony news and no one woukd care. Lol

It goes both ways though. Honest Xbox discussion gets derailed as well. Some people just like arguing about games more than playing them.
Even though I'm getting really excited about playing Forza 6 soon. (Counting down the days ) I did notice one of the coolest things I've ever seen in a racing game last night while playing drive club. This was a race on a Japan track. it started at dusk and goes into the dark of night with rain and noticed the lightining flash across the sky that would light up the entire track was freaking awesome!!! and also helped me see the turns that are coming up as well.. Lol.. I don't know I just thought it was pretty badass. As far as real-time dynamic lighting goes I hope future games in general borrow from driveclubs lighting system.

I don't agree with that second sentence (Union run by trolls, etc.). Most of the trolling happens in a few, specific threads -- Games Lineup, Sales, and this one. It isn't a general thing. If you read most game-related threads, you won't see much of it, because it's been siphoned off to these threads.
I agree that the PS side of the forum is dead -- or at least, it has definitely withered. I think we've lost a lot of PS-leaning people, who have drifted away.
Anyhow, I know that's off topic, but just wanted to comment.

Oh, we have. You're largely an Xbox guy, so I don't think you'd notice. I'm someone who has tended to the PS side of the forum since its inception, and believe me, there has been a substantial decline.

720p vs 900p = 56% difference. 1080 vs 900p = 44%. That was soooo confusing what he said. Who would have known he meant over 40%, right?
