Will give this game another go. I played it a few times when the Game Preview first started. It did have a cool sandbox to play in.

If this is anywhere near the Fortnite creator then it is a game changer.
I don't even know how that would work. Especially as Sea of thieves is tied so much to the sea.
If they can do it, other studios can to, right naughty dog, right?
IMO, Obsidian has a slight leg up over Naughty Dog for the fact that Obsidian has been making a different variety of games since their inception. They've made turn based rpgs, cRPG, an MMO and FPS. So the pivot to 1st person survival isn't too big of a stretch just surprising. Naughty dog on the other hand since their purchase by Sony(2001) hasn't done anything except 3rd person action games, so I would be surprised and expect them to struggle since they've made the same type of game for over 20 years. Now Guerrilla Games would be a different story.
