Had a blast. Damn, must have leveled up 4 BP levels. Double xp and challenges on the first few maps and I was flying!

Had some dude in CTF on Behomoth get the enemy flag and then just sat under our flag area with 0 attempt to finish the capture. I had to team kill him to get the flag.

Any clue what that was about?

One thing I notice in this game, a lot compared to any other game, is that people just to AFK for long periods of time. I got a bunch of challenges done off a guy who just stood in the spawn and didn't move.

I have no idea what it is about. Happens even in short 4v4 matches. It happens far too often where people just do nothing all game. I would think they are AFK farming, but they don't move at all and usually get booted idle.

Maybe PC players crashing and their character stays in the game for a bit?

My dude was not AFK.

I haven't seen any AFK players come to think of it.

I’ve see like two AFKs in my team, one time one literally quit the game upon start and I’ve seen like less than a dozen AFKs at on the opponents team but also a lot of quitters mid game. Cool that boys fill in their spots, unless it’s a ranked game.

Seen lots of quitters.

That is because this GAME is not the Halo they loved. I still think crossplay is the very thing 343 will lose all their xbox players.
I don't really know what that means, "not the Halo they loved."

Crossplay, haven't even seen 343 acknowledge it or respond to it. Usually, that means it isn't changing.

Because xbox live is a huge part of it where is police cheaters and so hard to pull that off and lose a lot. This however is free and you can get banned and make another account, even change it address because it's free. PC players will always cheat, it is in their nature to do so.

Because of this Halovis not lost and can enjoy because every one is a suspect of every little thing.

343 is in a really bad place and they know they just open a can of worms to allow crossplay. It might even have people stop playing because it will leave a bad taste for the sake of having crossplay.

Look at warzone now.

I basically quit COD over the crossplay thing. I am a console gamer because it doesn't have wallhacks and autoaim scripts. If I have to wonder about every time I die, that's not fun.

In Warzone, someone would seem to always know where I was even with the ghost perk. People would bust through the door and be aiming at you immediately. No looking left or right, they just look right at you.

I used to love watching the really good Halo players do their thing, even if I was the victim. They'd bounce a grenade and hit every headshot and melt you. GGs when that happens. Now though I have to wonder what he was running? No recoil scripts? Wall hacks? Mouse and keyboard emulating a controller and getting the strong aim assist? That's not fun when the competitive feeling is questioned.

I quit PC gaming for multiplayer because of all the cheating. If that's taking over my console experience too I'll be done with that too. I'll play more co-op stuff like Destiny and Back4Blood.

So it is not the "halo they loved" because of crosplay?

I hear you about cheaters and what not, but they are a very small percentage of players. The odds of you running into them is actually very low. Now, does that meah crossplay is fine? No, ofcourse not. We should always have the option to turn it off in game.

As for everyone being suspect, that is being a bit overdramatic. Just forget about it and platy. Odds are there is no cheater in your lobby.

Currently, to report cheaters you have to go to the Halo Support website and submit a ticket (including uploaded video evidence where possible).

That isn't a direct response to calls to have the option to turn off crossplay.

Also, can we stop using streamers? Cheaters stream snipe them all the time. Their experience is not the same as us random Jo's.

My bad, mixed it up thinking you mentioned cheaters not crossplay.

but that stream was just showing what it looked like from the cheaters POV, using whatever mod to see opponents behind walls.

Just because most of the cheaters end up in the higher tier of ranked doesn't make it ok.

This is what COD did, crank the skill based matchmaking up to 11, so bad players can have their nice protected pool while the rest of us struggle against top tier players and hackers.

Back when Warzone had that 3rd party site where you could check the quality of the match you were in, the system became obvious. I'm decent, but I would end up in the highest tier lobbies that streamers and top players get in. I was actually hoping to get killed by Dr Disrespect on stream. I was in those lobbies (yet I never won a game and rarely finished well). Activision shut that site down and killed that API because it made it obvious what they were doing. The above average players is cannon fodder.

This is their "solution" and it isn't good.

Just for the record I'm not saying it is OK or defending it at all.

FYI Warzone gets its new anti cheat this month.

Yeah will be interesting to see if their kernel level stuff makes a difference. That's what it takes to keep the game from being overrun.

I haven't personally played any cheaters on this game yet. At least nothing that stood out as being fishy.

I've run into a few people jump shotting with nearly perfect accuracy. Probably just good players, but you never know.

Well Zcythe might tell you a different story.
