I had a pretty good game last night. Trying to understand what is going on, my son explain to me everything and now it makes sense. I DO
Yes.

There is no progression system other than BP.
7 maps (4v4)is too few.
The vehicles and vehicle maps in 4v4 are bad.
There is no stats page.
No medals page.
BP progression is terrible.
The BP is terrible.
Forced cross play ( from a company who preaches 'options'.) is terrible.
The playlist set up is terrible.
Already seeing cheating.
Season 2 delayed.

A 6/10 all day long.
You know you can play without crossplay, but you can only do it with Duo or Solo, also select your input. If you go with the controller, you are playing with people with a controller only.

Placed Platinum IV in the crossplay ranked with controller. I'm happy but think I could have gotten higher if I was playing with a team. Still have to do my controller only one. Not going to touch the M/kb only one.

Couldn't careless if you think it is an overreaction. Especially when it surrounded by such ignorance.

I mean I love it when my team mates are queuing up for a certain weapon to spawn. I love having team mates quit because it isn't the right mode. I love having team mates not playing the objective as they are too busy trying to get pistol kills. These things have no negative impact at all.
I’ve played over 24 hours play time of this and can count the experiences you have mentioned on one hand and probably have fingers left over, but sure default to your typical irrational takes on everything. Not to mention, I almost exclusively solo queue, so not that prevalent and not exclusive to Halo. Maybe your teammates aren’t overly fond of your personality and don’t feel like helping you out, who knows? But whatever, think what you want. I won’t belabor the issue any further by continuing to argue with an irrational know-it-all. I already have children to attend to. At the end of the day, your absence just decreases my chances of an unpleasant experience, so that’s great for me. Adios.

You don't have enough storage?

I've had more fun in this than Battlefield 2042 and didn't have to pay a premium for it and there's more content to boot. Looking forward to SP.

So you just solidify my point and say it does happen but then claim my comments are irrational. Lol.

Well clearly I did know because you just backed it up. lol.

That is only in ranked, though.

Wow, are you targeting challenges? Because I hate doing that s***. I just want to play and make progress.
Yes, but I'm also using the challenge swaps as well to clear those that seem like they will never happen. I've also been using the double XP items that you get as you level up as strategically as possible - only using them when it seems I'm on the cusp of hitting several challenges.

Without targeting challenges I might be Level 20 by the time the next season starts .

If they don't change the way you get xp there is no way I'll buy another BP in the game.

The challenge xp grind is obviously there to be annoying so you will just fork over money to bypass it.

The problem with progression is I don't want to "grind" a Halo game like an MMORPG. COD suffers from the same thing. I like those action packed games, but I don't want to play them hours and hours every day. Destiny is my "grind" game and I don't have room for any more.

Definitely, I just want to play the game as it's intended. Not wait 5 minutes in the spawn so I can fight my teammates for the next wraith because everybody is challenge hunting.

Yeah, there is definitely a fine line for sure. Many of the newer challenges seem to be more naturally achievable during the course of standard gameplay. I've had a number that are "Win X games of Fiesta" or "Kill 20 spartans in Slayer".

I think the challenge system is fine as long as it is dominated by the right kind of challenges. Totally agree that you shouldn't have to be hunting around for the shock rifle (I hate that thing), etc.
