I know they've said it's a 10 year kind of service or continuation sort of game which sucks if you don't like how they've handled the campaigns so far. I know they have seasons coming for multiplayer not sure if the campaigns tie into those or not.
Didn't Bungie said the same about Destiny 1? I rather they build a strong foundation, & have a new Halo that is 100% next-gen & improvement.

Not every game needs to be Fortnite or League of legend. These games worked well as they are cartoony & the visuals age better.

I love that one of the AIs sounds like Miss Minutes from Loki.

Okay... Anyone playing this on xsx? How does it look? Not how it plays, it's Halo, it plays great, but animations, res, vs H5 etc?
I’ve been playing it in quality mode, looks great, only had one issue where there was this pink filter over everything but went away when I died lol

Calling that 120FPS mode on XSX is a bit of a joke. Fine on the XSS though.
Aren't most "next gen" games that advertise 120FPS modes really just up to 120fps? I haven't watched every breakdown but most of the ones I have seen are pretty unstable, some barely hit 100fps.

Got in some early morning games today.
Gameplay was smooth, and the graphics are good enough.
Now it says my account is not authorized to play. Anyone else having this issue?

You need to update.

Nope but it doesn't matter anyway, neither of these consoles are being pushed to their limit in the first year, once we get out of cross-gen and covid dev issues, once studios have time to really get their engines set to take advantage of what can be done we'll start seeing better things all around.

That sure seems to be the case. But if you are running VRR, you would be HARD pressed to tell when it's running at 120 or 109. I've been playing at 120hz and it's been super smooth and noticeably so compared to the 60hz mode

Thanks!

where do you do that?
Go to the game, tap the button with three lines, select “manage game and add-one”, and you should see that it has an update that you’ll need to start. I think it was around 7.5 GBs.

The MP looks nice, but I am not sure it has legs. Also (not just halo), teamwork doesn't seem to be a major factor in halo, but that can be said for most "arena-type" FPS team PVP games.
