I agree, but it’s an outdated way of thinking from our generation. These younger generations don’t think that way. They believe they are entitled to everything and don’t care how they get it.
What are they getting, though?

I think it’s a matter of them “getting what’s owed to them” sort of thing so in their mind it’s already theirs. It can be whatever really, content, status, etc.

Which is all lost once they get their ID banned. Which makes the whole thing even sadder and more hilarious.

Reddit is becoming a real cesspool. Being toxic is not helping.

I actually un-subbed from most Reddit game forums because every game board is like this.

Doesn't help when the community manager tells people they knew certain things were not good and they knew about problems, etc.

If you knew no Slayer playlist was not a good idea then why is it as it is? Oh, that is right. They spent years making an engine to support GaaS and still have UI limitations. WTF!!!

You're missing the point. Being toxic is the wrong way to go about things. The whiners on Reddit constantly complain about everything to the point where they are simply ignored.

This "we're just going to cry until we get what we want" isn't helping. These companies look at the numbers, not how loudly the babies on Reddit whine. I'd say at least 25% of the people in my lobbies have bought cosmetics.

Do you really think video game executives sit around in a big office and look at Reddit comments? They don't care. The same people that whine about it are the ones shelling out all the $$$. Why else would they whine so much about a free game?

You or I don't matter as long as enough people pull out the credit card each day.

Where is the toxicity for Forza 5?

Toxicity is bread through poor products. We are talking about a game that was delayed a year. Has been in dev for 6 years. Releases with minimal content. Poor playlists. A terrible progression system. A greedy MT ethos. A cheater problem. Has delayed season 2. Will launch out of beta with no additional content but will have more MTs drop. Etc.

Then the CM comes out and says yeah we knew it was bad.

You should be complaining. Not complaining and acting like this stuff is fine absolutely doesn't help. Shouldn't need to say it but I will....yes, death tyreats, threats of violence are stupid and way over the top, as is doxxing.

You say complaining doesn't work, but it does. Example: People complained about the progression, guess what, they changed it.

We haven't even touched the campaign yet, and we know that launches without the staple co op feature.

Complaining and critical feedback is fine and can be a good thing. There is no rationalization that makes threatening others okay. There is no probable cause for it.

I just ran into games where people are getting 77% to 80% hit on target while the real people who play the game right, gets around 45%

Depends on what you use, accuracy stats doesn't matter as much if you're using something with more spread, and if you're running with a melee weapon or rocket then of course the accuracy will increase. What matters is kills/death, assists, and playing to obj.

I dropped Reddit a few months ago. I got sick of people trying to twist my words or start fights. I found myself getting irritated thinking of certain exchanges when I needed to be working, etc - no time for that nonsense.
