It’s not a compliment coming from anyone, but you’re pretty obtuse, so whatever.

Your last statement just shows how little you understand. Sure, recognizing the gaming ecosystem made up of gamers, devs, and publishers has changed and everyone has played a role in it is somehow akin to shilling for corporate interests. Lamenting how poor execution of this model and the subsequent community response is a vicious cycle is also somehow akin to corporate arse licking. What an intelligent little creature you are, lol. Your assertions are ill-informed and asinine.
What's that....you're stroking the corporate shaft while cupping the balls.

Only person who doesn't understand is you. Which is typical. What you fail to realise every time is where this stuff starts. It has nothing to do with gamer mentality or negativity. Devs and publishers pushed the DLC method, thus changing what Gamers expectations are. Devs and publishers pushed the MTXs, thus changing what Gamers expectations are. Devs and publishers pushed the live service model that doesn't meet the previously set expectations the devs and publishers set, but that is ok cause it is Gamer mentality issue. Lol.

Please show me where Gamers asked for broken and or incomplete games, please, where and when was it?

This game is failing for one reason and one reason only, because it was rushed out the door. You can blame Gamers all you want, but they didn't make the game. They didn't make the choice to got to a live service model. They aren't the ones taking way too long to fix issues.

Ignorance doesn't make you an intelligent little creature. It just makes you sound asinine and ill informed.

The game isn't doomed, but it also isn't where it needs to be. It all hinges on what they do in the next few months, because eventually people are going to leave with no intention of ever coming back. The point of no return is approaching, however.

Yeah.. Pretty much a wait and see situation. Season 2's launch is crucial. They need a home run.

No, continuing to argue something I’m not even asserting about Halo is just showing all the more how narrow-minded and stupid you are. Halo’s incomplete state is completely the devs fault, but these things aren’t mutually exclusive and as I said before, don’t happen in a vacuum. They have failed to deliver on content. People choose how they respond, both before and after.

Once, again you’re wrong because you can’t see past your own ego and you’re ignorant of your incompetence. The community debates game launches and seasonal content all the time as it happens. It happened with Infinite in fact. Leading up to launch there was all kinds of back and forth from the community about whether they should delay, or if they should just launch multiplayer, or just campaign, etc. Parts of the community were literally saying it should launch incomplete and others wanted it to be content complete for launch. It’s happened with more than just Halo. At least I’m self-aware enough that I understand I played some part in it as being part of that community and that it has some kind of impact. I’ll concede though; you don’t strike me as someone with healthy amount of self-awareness or sense of responsibility.

Regardless, in your typical fashion you make some asinine assertions despite it not even being what I’m saying because you see things that aren’t there and can’t see the things that are.

. Halo’s incomplete state is completely the devs fault,
End of discussion.

The fact you think the back and fourth between Gamers on a forum has any effect says it all. And you have to cheek to call me egotistical

I worry that season 2 is going to be diluted as so many people are still working on features like co-op and forge. 343 is still a small studio, which is the problem. If you look at relatively successful live service games like COD and Destiny, they have thousands of people working on content. It took Bungie years to figure that out, and even COD isn't exactly the greatest content.

It shouldn't be surprising when companies much, much smaller fail to deliver on content. We aren't talking about a broken game where people don't like the main gameplay, but a content problem.

It sounds like a straight up resourcing problem more than anything else.

Their biggest mistake was removing player progression via a leveling system. It is a great feature that drives engagement.

They do have two separate teams working on each, MP and campaign, tho…

But they should’ve added another team just to work on MP content. You’d think they’d be on some sort of hiring spree just for it.

But I guess part of it is the new engine, it’s something new to their own devs and those coming in. Fortnite has unreal which anyone can use and learn.

Hell, Epic killed off projects (unreal tournament) and their sole focus (game wise) now is fortnite and their other team develops and supports unreal engine….all under one giant mall roof.

Really? How do they not have stuff to show and talk about when the original plan was to have season 2 in February.

The whole transparency thing doesn't mean tell us when it best serves you. That shows they aren't really being transparent at all. Just pulling an EA and ignoring its diminishing community until they deem it positive news.

Just checked on Xbox and there's more people playing Halo Infinite than are playing COD Vanguard (not Warzone of course). I don't think all the "ded game" talk is accurate.

Oh and on top of everything, Vanguard is free this weekend.

The dead game talk is mostly aimed at PC, but console numbers are dwindling too.

Plus F2P vs not F2P.

Plus Vanguard is free for 2 weeks, think it ends April 13.

Over seven thousand words and it’s not covering everything in this one of two post, which will be posted at a later date.

To set expectations, please keep in mind that this is not meant to cover all the upcoming work we have planned for Halo Infinite – nor does it have specific timelines for every item. It will, however, cover many of the common feedback areas that you’ve seen raised and discussed online with a focus on what’s landing in Season 2. We’ll have more to share around the specific timing of features and content in the future. As Joseph noted earlier this month, the team is also actively working towards shipping fixes, features, and updates in more agile ways during our seasons.

TL;DR

We recommend reading the full blog below to get all the details and context, but here’s a quick look at some of the updates coming when Season 2 launches on May 3.
This is by no means everything, and you can find additional insights from the team in each of their sections below, but we wanted to list some outcomes we think you’d like to see up front that are already locked and loaded for next month as work continues in numerous other areas.
AUDIO
  • The ability to hear an opponent’s shield recharge sound will be reduced to prevent providing too much information about a player’s location
  • The volume of the Grunt Birthday Party sound effect will be increased in Campaign
MULTIPLAYER
Arena
  • Catalyst (new Arena map) will be added to multiple playlists on day one
  • King of the Hill will be added to multiple playlists
  • Attrition will be added to multiple playlists
  • In Attrition, a revived player will be able to move immediately after spawning back in
  • Motion Tracker (Radar) will have its outer edge detection enabled for shooting and sprinting in social playlists
Big Team Battle
  • Breaker (new BTB map) will be added to matchmaking on day one
  • Jeff Steitzer’s voice is returning to call out player-earned medals
  • Issue causing asymmetrical Weapon Rack spawns has been addressed
Matchmaking
  • Rather than track a player’s entire session, the CSR progression bar will now reflect the progress made from their most recent match
Custom Games & Forge
  • Addressing some Custom Game bugs, with more coming down the road
Personal AI & Spartan Chatter
  • Balance adjustments were made to emphasize what’s most important for players
PC
  • Noticeable stability improvements; the team has resolved dozens of PC crashes
SANDBOX
Networking
  • Melee fights should be more consistent, with opponents “phasing” through each other less and “whiffing” less when a melee should’ve connected
Weapons
  • A global melee damage decrease of 10% on all weapons will require the Mangler to land two shots and a beatdown for a kill.
  • The Ravager’s base (non-charged) shot will see a damage increase
Friend or Foe (IFF) Recognition (Player Outlines)
  • This system will now have options allowing players to modify the opacity and thickness based on their preferences
Equipment
  • Drop Wall will see slight performance increases
  • Overshield will provide slightly more shielding
Vehicles
  • Chopper collision (splatter) damage will be increased to its vehicle-splattering glory
  • Banshee’s agility and damage output will be increased to improve its role as a strike fighter
  • Warthog & Razorback should be more resistant to flipping and bouncing
We’ll have another Outcomes blog focusing on the Live Team’s areas such as Customization, Shop, Battle Pass, Progression (Challenges), Events, Theater, and Observer Mode in the near future. Be sure to keep an eye out for it here on Halo Waypoint and give it a read when it lands.
Today’s Season 1 Outcomes blog is meant to highlight key community themes and the Halo Infinite team’s responses to each of them. To start, we’ll be going in alphabetical order and kicking things off with our teammates working on Accessibility!

Yeesh. That guy should be embarrassed by this video. If you are going to quote statements for your commentary, at least you should make an effort to understand what is said.
Have to agree.

Bonnie Ross I think it was said they want to keep having a dialogue with fans to keep the infrastructure right, but this dude just ignores that and bangs on about how 343i think fans are a nuisance.

Also find it odd that 343i are supposedly frustrated they aren't bringing in the players numbers like Fortnite or Apex Legends.

But that "Just like porn" quote is funny as hell. Why on earth would you ever say that in an interview under any context. lol.
