I was hoping for Halo Infinite! I already own Reach.

Not in 4k HDR you don't, and that is what they are doing (says so in the alert inside MCC when you boot it up).

On another note- I fired up the MCC for the first time in a while, and seeing those games in 4k is pretty great. Especially H2A.

Does 4K HDR improve the s***ty game that Reach already is????

I haven't played Reach for years. I couldn't even tell you a single thing about it other than I know I finished it. But am I reading this wrong? Do us MCC owners get Reach entirely? Or just the Forge/MP and we have to pay extra for Reach?

From what it says the campaign and Firefight are paid extras for the MCC, however, if you have game pass, Reach in its entirety is included.

No game pass for me. I will just pay for the Reach campaign then. No biggie.

One of the most memorable parts of REACH was the final fight, struggling to fight everyone off and noticing my daughters slowly starting to tear up. They were flat out crying when I finally fell.

Did they mention if it’ll support crossplay between PC and Xbox?

As long as it was optional I would hope they add it. I can own PC players with a controller.
You may be able to, but PC players will almost always have an advantage over console players. This is just a fact

Have cross play for customs. It shouldn't even be an option for anything else.

I agree normally they do. So optional is good

https://www.windowscentral.com/halo...n-pc-team-talks-cross-play-xbox-play-anywhere

Speaking during the Halo Championship Series (HCS) Invitational, 343 Industries members provided insight into ongoing work on the project. According to Halo Community Director, Brian Jarrard, cross-play remains a topic the team "wants" to make happen; but is focusing on releasing its PC versions "the right way." It indicates that while open to the concept, cross-play isn't in development for launch day.

I think one of the questions we've gotten is will MCC PC support Xbox Play Anywhere. And first off I wanted to say, we so appreciate all the support we've had from Xbox One community with MCC, and we're obviously bringing Reach to MCC. And while MCC shipped before the XPA Play Anywhere [program], we are exploring ways to make sure we show our appreciation and recognition for the support we've had from the amazing fans on MCC. And we'll have more to announce once we get closer to launch.

https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/community/halo-insider

The Halo Insider Program will allow people to play early builds of each Halo game on PC, helping ensure each game in the MCC will release stable. Members of the program will be asked to report on any bugs or glitches they encounter, as well as offer forms of feedback such as suggesting new types of features or changes to the game's interface.

-Mix and Match Armor, linked to new progression system, no MTX (Reach seems to be the only one that supports mix match armor right now)
-Uncapped FPS for each game is the plan
-Game release date is dependent on how well the flights go
-No 24/7 custom dedicated servers for the custom browser, this is an area of discussion though!
-No Mod support at launch, working with the modding community, i01 team and the ED team to explore "official" modding options
-Anti-cheat is a big focus for launch
-Until all games are out it will be a buy one by one situation (no season pass model either)
-Will support Windows 7 and 10, Windows 8 support is being looked at (Wonder if this means it can run on Photon?)
-No ETA on the first flight, currently building the first audience for the flight and dev team is working on the UI/controls
-Forge and Theater will NOT be out at launch, are both getting extra work for PC (should be around Halo 3/H4 release / potential rework of Forge?)
-ODST Firefight is still being evaluated
-More anti-cheat news will be talked about later
-FoV and FPS limits will be a title by title basis
-MCC progression will carry over from console version, no 360 progress will
-MCC saves will NOT carry over between console and PC
-Achievements, Forged Maps, Game Variants and stats will be sync’d
-343 is currently testing 144hz+ frame rates, ordered 240hz monitor to test with.
-Wants to support a wide variety of hardware, spec details coming soon. Min specs to be determined via flighting
-Steam/WinStore users can play together
-Xbox crossplay is top of mind and actively being investigated right now
-They are looking at what can be supported in regards to splitscreen/local co-op for PC users
-They are looking into getting mix and match armor sets in for Halo 3
-No info on pricing yet, focus is on getting the flight out as soon as possible
-Centered Crosshairs are being investigated
-They will talk about how terminal videos will work later
-Still exploring options regarding play anywhere and letting Xbox owners who have a copy also enjoy it on PC
-Aspect ratios that are supported are 21:9, 16:9, 16:10, 3:2 and 4:3
-Reach will use the same dedicated servers for Match Making as the rest of MCC
-No current plans to bring Halo 5 over
-They want to get this package out to PC gamers asap but only once it's ready
-No info on playlist, will be looking at community feedback on settings for things like bloom and Armor Lock (Vanilla, TU, CEA)
-Halo Custom Edition Content is on their list and is being actively explored (they had map importing working to some extent last year)

"-Centered Crosshairs are being investigated"

They better give us this as an option for the xbox version. It drives me bonkers having that crosshair set so low. I know that it doesnt bother most people, but when you are always aiming for headshots, I feel like I am looking up towards the sky more then I should be.

Plainview Sooo... Can we move the PC stuff to the PC forum? It would be nice to not get excited about news only to get info on the PC release...

Looking forward to this. Never did get around to playing Halo 4 or 5 and a friend of mine hasn't played any, so it will be fun to go through them all co-op.

Don't think 5 is included in the collection.
