Halo 5

Got invited to the PC Flight and played a bit today. There are definitely a lot that needs to be addressed but this is a solid start with Reach. The game ran at over 250 FPS for me in MP and campaign.

One of the few times your better off using a controller over m/k. The aim assist is so strong in this game when using one.

I haven't gotten too far yet but it's Halo and it runs fine and I'm using controller because I've been a console guy too long.
 
Playing on xbox, environments looks great, I miss bungie's halos mainly for their level design, everything else (including mp) has evolved for the better imo.

Just got and I'm enjoying the multiplayer. Takes a while getting used to. It's been ages since I played some Halo. First step was turning of VSYNC and binding keys to what feels comfortable. I am tempted to play with just the controller though.
 
So they finally got around to releaseing Halo CE, and holy smokes, this one need more time in the cooker. CE campaign keeps crashing on me, and partying upo online for any MP or Co-Op means eventual crash. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Yea I was apart of the flights and even I was shocked at how soon they released it. There is a very big bug right now related to gun bullet spray pattern and framerates higher than 60fps.
 
Played some with some buddies who got the via PC game pass. Apparently there are issues where the game won't recognize it as installed. I think the region within the computer settings had to actually be reset to fix it. Weird issues, but we got it fixed and got party up with some friends I haven't hung out with in a while. I'm just curious if anybody else had these issues with PC game pass on MCC or any other game for that. I've mostly been playing My Time at Portia with the game pass.

Halo VR? I know it's a stretch, but if they are ever thinking about VR in the next 3-5 years, why wouldn't they want to get started developing now? Also if they are in fact thinking ahead to that time, wouldn't they also want to start off hitting hard, with Halo? Just a thought. I could be way off, but we all know they definitely wouldn't advertise it as a VR position right now, if it were actually true. That could just as easily come up in the interview. I can't think of a hotter way to spin off Halo right now, but I know I'm biased.

they did have a “paint ball like” vr game set up at that halo outpost discover. you were in a small arena and used plasma pistols.

but who knows, something on a grand scale like that of half-life alyx would be epic.

Yeah, they actually have 2, believe it is not. There is a sh!tty shooting gallery experience that I think is called Halo Recruit, and it's generally hated. The other one is location based multiplayer they had on tour, and that might be the one you are talking about. Neither is what we'd consider a full game, though.
 
Every time a new halo game rumor pops up, I will always say make a damn ODST third person tactical shooter set during the insurrectionist war.

Other than, give halo a break and make a new franchise lol.

Or an ODST/marine horror/thriller game.
