The Behemoth is celebrating their 10th anniversary (and Dan Paladin's birthday week -- happy birthday Dan!), and to celebrate, you can get Alien Hominid HD, Castle Crashers, and BattleBlock Theater for 50% off on the Xbox Live Arcade. The sale will last until September 16th, and I highly recommend at least picking up Castle Crashers if not all three, especially if you have any local friends to play co-op with.
All in all it's been a pretty interesting decade for Behemoth, and I hope they keep making games. It'll be really interesting to see if they keep supporting Microsoft via the Xbox One, or branch out into the increasingly indie-friendly marketplace elsewhere.

Good looking out, I've been waiting for a sale on Battleblock.

So Battleblock is a good one? I was going to get one, but wasn't quite sure of which one.

I'm really loving these sales lately.

Either Castle Crashers or Battleblock and you can't go wrong. I personally like CC a little more than BBT. CC has 4-player co-op, side scrolling Beat em up, where BBT is only 2 player co-op an more of a platformer. Both have that great wacky Behemoth sense of humor though.

All of behemoths games have been great, I can honestly say. Though this sale is moot for me, since I bought them all already.

I'd honestly buy any of their games without knowing what it even is. They got me to like side scrolling again, gotta figure they know their s***.

I'm obviously a fan of Battleblock theater. I'm surprised it isn't a bigger hit. Great game. I like it better than Castle Crashers (which I also love, but CC is a hack and slash, linear etc)

It's totally worth $10

Very challenging and addictive. And it seems every week there's a new "feature" which I think is Behemoth picks the best user made set of levels. So basically there is new content for free every week. The base game is fairly lengthy as is for an arcade title.

And yeah, the humour is awesome. Juvenile? sure but it's right up my alley and very well done :D

Is Battleblock Theater any good as single player?

Yes it is, although I can swear the lvl layout is changed for co-op though. I played co-op first and then played through by myself and had myself scratching head at some parts cause they weren't as I remembered.
