So this is supposed to be an alternate Watchmenverse?
A lot of people complain about the ending to the movie, but from a cinematic standpoint I thought it made more sense. I read the graphic novel about a year before the movie came out, and I actually liked the movie's ending more. I know I'm in the vast vast minority on this, but it's how I felt when I saw it, plusI'm going in with skepticism. I loved the graphic novels, and thought the movie did a decent job interpreting it - of course, with the exception of the change to the major threat.
My buddy is doing that too. I think I'm gonna stick with it week to week. Need to catch the second episodeI started first episode, but I stopped after like 10 minutes. I want to wait so I can binge it.

As far as the show goes, I really liked the first episode, but going in blind to this show is a bad idea. I feel like a newcomer to the Watchmen universe would be a bit off put by it. Lindeloff's tendency to confuse the viewer is there, and without any knowledge of Watchmen novel canon you couldn't possibly understand anything.
Is there a different ending that I don't know about? The film ended completely different than the show alluded to in episode 1Quick watch of the film will do it. Show is using the film's better ending anyways
Anybody catch episode three? Best yet, really love the direction they're heading with it.
Dr. Manhattan has to make an appearance at some point. Also, where the hell is Nite Owl? In jail maybe? Love that they brought in Silk Spectre (Laurie) as a new main character. Also, Ozymandias is probably on Mars right? Loving his storyline
I’ve been wondering where Oz actually is..? And his helpers all appear to be Westworld types...?
Either way, good episode. So far it seems to keep getting better.
