So we cut the cord years ago, as I am sure many others have. Well until now its been perfect, I say that because when the Xbox one comes out I will want to use snap feature with live tv. Now we all know the tv will not tune through hdmi so I will need an external tuner. Anyone have experience with this and want to help?

Example - HDTV Antenna through coax into atsc tuner, tuner to Xbox through hdmi

(I was going to put this in the electronic section but figured other Xbox one users would like to know as well.)

I hope there is eventually an xbox themed HDTV tuner like the wifi on the early X360's

Thats just one...not sure whats the best but any box similar to that...it'll look like a cable box you can plug an HD antenna into and they have HDMI out.

On futher thinking, your only issue may be using a channel guide unless MS includes OTA channel setups.

I read an article about OTA HD being available, but not at launch.

Interesting.

I "cut the cable" also. I can get what I want with little effort over my internet connection, and brilliant looking HD Hockey Night In Canada OTA Saturday nights, watch some news, etc etc. The rest of the crap I could have with a $130/m cable bill, well, just isn't enticing.

I'd love a la carte cable channels and maybe I'd bite, but that ain't happening this decade. The internet provides a work around and it's easier than it's ever been and I don't even feel bad about it. Those cable companies are vampires.
