Diablo Grande, California.
I've read a lot of reviews some state they work fine and others don't I'm a little skeptical if I'm being honest, does anyone use one? and or could recommend a certain design/model? Personally as long as the quality remains the same I have no problem investing in one. I need it for my games room when the PS4 and Xbox One arrive I want them to run in sync with the PS3 and Xbox 360 as appose to changing HDMI cables every time I need to use a certain console.

try monoprice I have one that works great.

I own a variation of this.

It's pretty cheap and it works well. I don't have any complaints and I've owned it for a couple years now.

I had one years ago that worked just fine -- keep in mind that it's probably an HDMI switch and not a splitter (this is good, and why you shouldn't be concerned)

anyways, the one I got was from monoprice and came with a remote so I was able to program my Harmony remote to change the HDMI switch port as needed as part of the activity it was doing.

I got one of the non-electronic HDMI switchers from monoprice and love it. You have to get up and click the button (so it's 100% manual) but it's sturdy and reliable. You get your switcher and burn calories too.

I'm sure the clicking sound is very satisfying

the sound of your thighs rubbing together when you walk towards it, not so much

If your interested in having surround sound you can pick up a nice midrange reciever for under 300, I have an onkyo and it has 6 HDMI inputs. The newer models have 8 I believe.
