I'll say this. I was super skeptical of OLED before I got one to act as a computer monitor. Now I can't imagine going back to a traditional LED tvs. The burn in risk is worth it in my opinion.
So true, I have an LED Sammy in my living room that's like 3 years old and I don't even want to use it now that I purchased a LG C1 for gaming that I use in my bedroom. I'm so conflicted right now because the C1 while offering greater picture quality it handles reflections really poorly. So I'm hesitant to get an OLED for the living room that gets a lot of natural light. But when I watch movies on my old Sammy it bothers me how much the colors and overall picture is just not as vibrant as my OLED. I've read that with Sony's A90J being brighter it does handle reflections better but I'll have to do more investigating for myself.

I have a CX and it sits on my desk in my office while my Sony X950G is in the entertainment unit in the same room. It's night and day difference of picture quality. The room has theater curtains on the windows so natural light isn't a problem. But I will concede that the overhead lights are problematic on the CX more than the Sony.
The only reason the x950G hasn't been replaced is that its connected to a receiver and 2021 was not kind to HDMI 2.1 receivers.

Kind of sketchy... my Sony x900h from Oct 2020 in the last week or so has reboot on its own maybe 3-4 times? No error message after it comes back up or otherwise any oddities. Couldn't find much on the issue although one person on Reddit says it could be processor or something. One thing I noticed when it restarted was the Roku (attached to AVR) would light up even if I wasn't using it at the time. Another time when it rebooted while playing PS5 with headphones I heard the PS5 menu music instead of the game. In any case I ended up unplugging it from power for a few minutes and changing the slot it was plugged into. So far it has been fine for several days so maybe I got lucky and either the full disconnect or even a bad power slot. I do have the Best Buy plan for it but what a drag.

What’s the best affordable small tv for just streaming apps and movies, which would probably be just for streaming them as well, in a bed room. Don’t care if it’s lcd, just a good to great tv for what it’d be, kinda passive. Getting it for a family member, they don’t watch much, and when they do they tend to leave it on 😆
