I think I missed this, because this is both true and funny. Turning off the soap opera effect.
It could only get better if someone would quote this and say "ok boomer"
Tell me more or point me in the right direction please! So Panasonic are bringing their tv's back to North America, glad to hear it.
Great brand but is using LG's inferior MLA tech.Tell me more or point me in the right direction please!
Interview with someone from Panasonic, I believe they said the tv's will be available this month.Tell me more or point me in the right direction please!
Great brand but is using LG's inferior MLA tech.
I would avoid them until they adopt QD-OLED tech.
Panasonic is great.Yeah but it's Panasonic..................
Only thing better is Sony.
And I'm only talking about TV's btw.
Panasonic is great.
However MLA is inferior to QD-OLED.
Sony's QD-OLED A95L won best tv two years in a row vs LG's MLA G3(2023) and this years MLA G4.
What we can expect is Panasonic to put out a better MLA TV than LG.
Yes they are better than LG.So you're saying we can expect Panasonic to put out a better TV than LG.
That's all I wanted to know. Thanks.
So I'm potentially in the market for a 55" TV, and was going to do some eyeballing around for a Sony Bravia 7 maybe early February when they're blowing out the year old/display models. This approach has worked well for me in the past.
Well now I have the Panny W95A to look out for. Gonna have to dig deeper.
But Panasonic coming back to North America is a good thing for consumers.
Yes they are better than LG.
Like I stated if they adopt the QD-OLED tech it would be even better and give Sony's QD-OLED TV's a run.
No these are the same Panasonic tv's that are available everywhere else, the flagship 65 inch OLED is $3200. These aren't off brand sets with Panasonics name being put on them. MLA OLED panel, their newest processor, beefed up sound system, supports 144hz gaming etc.Remember Panasonic TVs? They're Back—This Time With OLED and Mini LED Sets - Consumer Reports
Panasonic, once a plasma TV powerhouse, returns to the U.S. TV market after eight years, with OLED and Mini LED sets.www.consumerreports.org
So this is Amazon/Costco driven?
That makes me sceptic.......... just slapping on the Panasonic badge to some other TV? Probably. But.......might be good......and surprisingly affordable?
This is the TV I have my eye on...........and this is a bad review apparently:
If I see that at a certain price point in the next few months (so either Black Friday or post Superbowl) I might just jump on it.
No idea what BF means here. You can't mean best friend or boyfriend so I'm super confused.BF for whatever you decide.
Black Friday…. November 29No idea what BF means here. You can't mean best friend or boyfriend so I'm super confused.
Anyway, seems like the ideal TV for me personally. I probably won't buy one I'm still pretty happy with my whole set up. Never a bad idea to wait and wait and then the upgrade will likely be more amazing.

No Dolby Vision is a deal breaker.Seems like every year I think I need to get a new TV and every year as we get closer to the end I say I'll wait until next year. I am looking at a couple of OLED's right now. The two Samsungs (which I never thought I'd consider buying) are both QD OLED and the cheaper model almost matches the more expensive one in every way other than not having a one connect box or a matte screen.
The S90D and S95D are supposed to be great for gaming and the 65 inch S90D is considerably less money than the 65 inch S95D ($1700 vs $3100 at best buy) so buying that and the extended warranty which covers burn in is pretty appealing. Not sure if I'm going to do it or not but thinking about it.
