I just did the same thing. Replayed the entire game and tried to increase my mastery level on some of the stages. I had been doing the Elusive targets in between occasionally ( read: When I remembered they were available). I agree the game is solid. I think I'm coming around to this being better than Blood Money. Blood money is great but dated. Some of the mechanics after playing this version just don't feel right anymore. If they redid Blood money with the engine and mechanics, I'd buy it in a heartbeat because some of Blood Money's mission were superb. With the season finished and the recent issues for the developer I decided to replay the whole game.
Its good. Not blood money good but still a solid hitman game but looking at the achievements it has a lot of rare ones including finishing the final mission with only 9.41% completing it.
I think the episode format hurt it more than anything.
Unrelated, but there was this recent fun cat and mouse game, where one player was a sniper (who could only see through the sniper scope on another building) and the other player had to steal s*** and escape without raising suspicion.Oh and FFS, give us a damn multiplayer mode in this game. The cat and mouse potential would be so fun.
Will get it because it's Hitman but that's about it. Last game didn't really pull me in either.I still only played a few missions from the first one. That game never pulled me in for some reason. Seems like the kind of game I'd like with stealth and more thinking than just shooting. Once the missions got so complex it just seemed tedious.
