It's crazy how fire effects can look really good in some games and terrible in others and they are always just 2D. I'll be buying this game and I think in some ways it looks very good and others kind of average but I'm a sucker for fantasy action games.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla comes to mind, beautiful game with PS2 style fire effects.

I like the Harry Potter books a lot so I'm fascinated by the potential of this game and the world of Hogwarts.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla comes to mind, beautiful game with PS2 style fire effects.

HDR plays a role now too, sometimes if you get it bright enough it can fix the low res look a little bit but that's kind of rare. Even the new Saints Row can have some really bad looking fire effects one moment and some that actually look pretty good the next. Horizon FW looked amazing in almost every way but the explosions looked very last gen as well.

Pretty sure you just pick a house before you start, would be cool if you answer some questions or something, I don't know what house to go with..
