This is nothing like Cuphead. This is more like Ori, but Ori looks better than this.

I think I've offered a bunch of reasons why it has SOMETHING in common with Cuphead. But you can prove me wrong.

Cuphead may not have hand painted animation.
Be a 2 platformer.
May not depend on shooting.
May not depend on platforming.
May offer some rpg depth...?

Nothing like cuphead?!
Nothing like it at all?

Just deep throat and swallow the facts gurls.

Wow, man. Why the mean remarks? (I'm bald, btw).

In my opinion, I just don't think Hollow Knight looks or plays like Cuphead. Cuphead is 75% boss fights with some light platforming. The art style is of 1930's cartoons.

I think this game looks and plays more like Ori. And I loved Ori. Both are metrovania-like. Cuphead isn't.

I also have this game on my Steam wishlist.

Is this good enough for you?

I played about an hour last night and I'm really liking it so far.

News came out lastnight that the game will take another 6 months plus to port to Switch.
Its a very small independent team of 4 who created the game and they need to address and flaws in the PC release before focusing on port.
 
This was exclusive to Switch and PC for a while, but now it's coming to PS4 and Xbox. It arrives in two weeks. Crowded calendar, I know, but this might interest people who like high-quality metroidvania-style platformers.

I’m all in. After finally beating Ori and now playing Dead Cells, I’ve realized these are my types of games. Should’ve gone to this genre earlier considering Metroid is one of my top 5 franchises ever. Been holding off on the Switch version in hopes it was coming to the X.
